FWIW if the choice at the moment is between Coleman and Doedee I'd be picking Doedee. I still think Coleman needs a bit longer.

Doedee isn't a rebounding HBF though.

Drop Lester for Doedee. ;)

Normally a draw leaves you feeling hollow.

lol, not me. Not tonight.

I'll take a draw & still be at the top of the ladder hahaha.

I do like a crap game where we get some learnings but the downside isn't too bad.
100%, our percentage was so bad it was worth a game negatively, now this isn’t an issue and we can just “win” games while also remaining clear on top.

Did I read somewhere on here Doedee didn’t play ressies yesterday? Was he the travelling emergency for tonight’s game or has there been a setback?

Think they just gave him a week off. He's played three games with full minutes - no doubt wanting to keep him fresh, conditioned and ready for when he joins the best 22.

Gap between our best and worst in the midfield is pretty stark. I probably had it as a watch after two commanding weeks but it's a problem at this point. Need the boys to be switched on every week. Fort isn't providing anything that Gallop can't; award the young bloke and keep Fort on ice incase injury strikes Big O

Lost out on a win here due to attitude and mindset. The guys never took this game on like we did last week. So telling.
Just coasted mentally and paid the price. I hope a wakeup call was what this game should be reviewed as.
Midfield and rucks were killed by a more willing opponent.
Neale had a pillow under his head all game and never lifted. Unusual.

Big call if Hipwood is injured doing that.

Didn't stop us from trying with Daniher who was far more important than Hipwood last season.

To be fair, when the teams are released no one puts a magnet next to old number 35 & says, we have to stop him at any cost if we are to win the game.
Quite the opposite, when Chris Scott puts Jeremy Cameron’s magnet next to Lester’s name, Cameron keeps trying to move it when no one is looking.

We’re a September team. Need to wait until end of July for our boys to start to switch on every week. In the meantime just keep scraping points to stay near the top of the ladder. 😁

At least it wasn’t a draw against a team that will take some heart from it against us in a final!

Your complacency from the preview thread seeped through to the boys 3kz, I did warn you.
True. If only Fagan followed my email instructions. McKenna’s run would have really helped tonight. Fagan can 100% own Gardiner’s selection.

At the start of the year I'd have taken 7-1-1 all day long. Who wouldn't? I'm confident we'll bounce back next week against Melbourne. Just curious to see how we go against Hawthorn at the G & the Crows at Adelaide. Pinch one of those two and I'll forgive today's game haha. I don't know why, but I have a sneaky feeling we'll beat the Hawks recent hoodoo
