i'm biased but he's strung along a fair number of consistent performances. instead of going missing like a lot of younger players he'll continue his high effort throughout the full game.
i'd genuinely recommend watching him live because you see how much he runs just for one contest. his third goal on the weekend vs. cola was from a chain he started on our back flank, before getting what was essentially an uncontested goal square mark. the only mark against him is that his accuracy infront of goal is pretty ordinary and needs to be improved big time.

That's a pretty good assessment although I am never paying any money to watch Essingtin live (except when they play the baggers)
Young Ashcroft looks like a generational talent already and as silly as it sounds, he will get a lot of votes partly because injury robbed his older brother of winning it a few years ago.
With almost half the season played. Levi is 2.25 to win it so that's raging hot favourite form.
I like the look of Langford from Melbourne too.

Kid was drafted and hasn’t been given any farms yet. Attacks the ball, shows great courage and plays his role for the team. Something a certain number 9 for west coast has absolutely no idea about.
