I'm not trolling anyone, I'm calling out the club heirachy for allowing this club to fall into a hole, I'm calling them out and anyone who's defending them. Another negative not mentioned is the inability of our players to stick tackles. In 1 piece of play in the crows fwd 50 in the 3rd qtr, there were 5 attempts at tackling and they all missed and a crows goal resulted. They just shrugged us off.
Get rid of some of the hangers on and appoint a tackling coach F.F.S.

I’d love to have a stat on team tackling efficiency.

I thought our pressure was good, and has been for a while, but they stuck their tackles and too often ours were broken.

Personally I think Ginbey has been really poor for at least the last month. He is offering less and less offensively. He missed about 3 simple 20m kicks in D50 today.

Ginbey would not be top 5 in our BnF. Baker, Graham, Waterman, Cripps, Gov, Hewett, Harley would all be in front of him.

Ginbey is straight up just being wasted IMO.

Give him Maric's role (which he had and looked very exciting in the pre season with his run) and bring in Bazzo to be 3rd tall.

Get Maric back up forward or onto a wing.

Nah, we’ve had 7 25+ disposal games all year and Maric playing off half back has 5 of those 7. He’s had some decent outings bringing the ball out of defense to get us moving for sure. You’ve either not watched or have memory loss. On the AFL site he has been in our bests in 6 out of 11 outings. So yep, you are high right now

Disagree on Ginbey, only way to know will be to check in on the John Worsfold medal count, but I think he’s pretty valued internally for what he’s done so far this year

I think the players took steps forward today, and the coaching decisions took a step back.

Coach errors:
A) took bailey out when we were winning the game due to his ruck and rover efforts.
B) Took Kelly out when he was looking like he was going to have a 25+ disposal game
C) We stopped constantly rotating Brockman and Ryan in the centre.
D) Again making the sub too late.
E) We NEED hutchinson ON the ball. He is the only player that can win contested and do two way defensive running.
F) Too many players in packs going for the mark
G) Our midfield coach has shit positioning, we are always behind the man and second to the ball
H) Waterman should have been instructed to come up the ground way more and sooner.

Player pros:
BOG AWARD:
Brock. The guy is developing well, taking great intercept marks. Kept the guy who always tears us one to 1..

Edwards: Against the beast Thilthorpe would have kept him to two if he wasnt getting silver service from rebounds

Ginbey: Love his physichal game, and he knows when to peel off and come over the top, just wish he was giving us more run off the back

Player Cons:
Our most damaging players had a quiet one:
Baker: They shut down his run off half back (he can have multiple bad ones off the performances he has been putting out for us)
Hunt: Barely saw it and usually provides run on the wing and good defensive pressure
Ryan: for those that want him gone, well this is the shellacking you'll get without him in the team.
Maric: His lack of confidence shows, and he needs to stop going the sheezy ball kicks, and start chewing off bigger ones. At the bare minimum place it at least behind the contest for our players to run onto jetta style.

When he's doing brain fades and jogging around with no intensity up forward we don't notice.

When he does it in defense it's quite frustrating. Wonder how many goals he conceded today with poor defending and straight up stupidity.

Yep, I remember that sequence and thinking the same...they had a huge game last week with pressure and tackles, but fell away today, which is kind of understandable. The Crowbots seem a bigger built mature side.

Needs to be given a licence to get a handball receive, use his pace to take 20-30m and kick it another 50m over the zone.

Bar one person calling Flynn something something something, the personal insults have stopped since Selwood.

In my alternate universe, whereby I went for a nap, near 3/4 time, there was no injury to waterman. I didn't see it, it didn't happen.

I’d actually agree with this. The issue is those short kicks are the ones you need to nail as they are always the ones finding a team mate close to your defensive goal, he misses them too often putting the entire defense under pressure when he point of a short kick is to relieve pressure.

I think the general sense is his long kicks are to an area or a contest, rather than to a target.

Ginbey is in bad form and has been for a month.

Maric doesn't hurt teams at all. That's the big issue. We're copping all the bad defensive efforts whilst getting minimal in the way of offense.

I get the feeling he knows player 23 (at our club anyway) isn’t going to flip the script too dramatically.

You do know all your demands and frustrations and vitriol don't go anywhere on here, it has no effect on anyone, anywhere, certainly not the club - it all falls on deaf ears. It's like pissing in the wind. If you wanted results, you'd actually be better off parading up and down outside the club with a placard?

Also, I think using Maric as the primary rebounder has also dramatically hurt Ginbey’s offense.
