He took around 13 steps by the time he kicked it, but I think it was probably the correct call to not pay a free. This wouldn’t be called 99% of the time.It wasn't even close to running too far.
Pickett was appealing after he took 7 steps, ffs.
Simple. 10-15k people held tickets but didn't turn up for whatever reason. The weather in the morning was looking very wet, cold and windy and may have scared people off.Can anyone explain how this match was a fully ticketed game, with no tickets available 24hrs before, and people getting turned away at the gate, yet the attendance was only 78k - just over 3/4 full?
Absolutely. Still comes back to visit his old junior club and high school and always happy to have a chat with anyone.Gawn is genuinely a lovely bloke and one of the best captains in the league

pathetic trolling of Collingwood at times the old stereotypes are 30+ years old and lost their entertainment and comedy value decades ago just eye rolling biased statements like "no teeth" get shrugs nowJust like you’ve been doing in this thread, and every Pies thread, troll.
We're just waxing the moustache!Reminds me of Sydney 2024. Although I highly doubt Collingwood will get stagefright like them.
he's a ripperAbsolutely. Still comes back to visit his old junior club and high school and always happy to have a chat with anyone.
i was shocked it was that low to be honestCan anyone explain how this match was a fully ticketed game, with no tickets available 24hrs before, and people getting turned away at the gate, yet the attendance was only 78k - just over 3/4 full?
it was crap both ways so i don't know where the complaints are coming from and even then this was one of those games where its mainly shitty ruck frees that go to Gawn and Cameron and inflate the free kick count
Actually think Weitering would work well with May. He's a bit of a menace too yelling at teammates. Wouldn't mind bringing him in for a year or two while some of youngsters develop in the 2s.Sometimes you have to make those tough calls for the betterment of group cohesion and ultimate success. Why they should have gotten rid of Oliver too.
Cameron usually gets cheapie ruck frees‘Mainly.’
5 out of 49.
Even then it highlights some of the grievances; 4 of those 5 went to the Pies ruckman
Inconvenient stats‘Mainly.’

What is the current prevailing opinion as to the words exchanged between Max and May at the end there? Here's my current best guess.
Steven May: Why didn't you palm it off to me..? Don't you know who I am..???
Max Gawn: Not now Steven...
Been a massive issue with the AFL - fully ticketed events that don't get close to selling out just to force certain members to upgrade their tickets to "guarantee" a seat. Can anyone explain how this match was a fully ticketed game, with no tickets available 24hrs before, and people getting turned away at the gate, yet the attendance was only 78k - just over 3/4 full?

My impression of Weitering is a solid team man, haven't noticed him handing out idiotic sprays. Is he vocal? Maybe he could belt May into silence as a sort of minder.Actually think Weitering would work well with May. He's a bit of a menace too yelling at teammates. Wouldn't mind bringing him in for a year or two while some of youngsters develop in the 2s.
Lots of snow has fallen already this year. Why was it fully ticketed with no walk ups? Unlike ANZAC Day, this game has never approached 90k - last year was the biggest ever (84k).
I also find it unlikely that 1 in 4 people who had a ticket just blew it off because amazingly it was cold Melbourne day in June - when the whole occasion is based around it being a cold day!
Reserved seat members and mcc that don't show up, along with not selling 5k standing room tickets. Can anyone explain how this match was a fully ticketed game, with no tickets available 24hrs before, and people getting turned away at the gate, yet the attendance was only 78k - just over 3/4 full?
No current season stats available
29 free kicks to win by a point
DO BETTER umpires and try to give them 40 when they play the Saints
Just like squib?Free kick Nick lol. That one needs to stick.
You won with the umpsThey won the moral 4 points. Congrats.
it was a one point game if you had accounted for the Hyphen who owns your club you could have wonYou won with the umps
