The one thing Trump has proven since his election is if he is given an inch, he has every intention of taking 10 miles. I have no probem with deporting illegals. I do have an issue with deporting actual citizens whether born in America by illegals or not.

but this is only one part of the plan or is it even the plan at all, or is it part of a smoke and mirrors exercise.

Based on all of Trumps governance to date, its highly conceivable this escalation is a tactic to provoke legal immigrants from around the country into public comment against the government. Then those that comment can be deemed trouble, have their visas cancelled and immediately the deportation numbers escalate. The one thing we always know with Trump is if he is showing you something on the right hand, look to see what the left is doing.

If there is a 100% certainty right now, he is completely ****ing over something else somewhere that he is able to hide because of this.

Quite the conundrum, when you support conservative, small government, free capitalism government at home, but also support Federal overreaching, economically unsound, authoritarian governments overseas.

The contrast between Gavin Newsom’s calm, assertive leadership and the bunch of 12 year old schoolyard bullies currently running the White House couldn’t be more stark.

Seems to be a decent man with that increasingly rare combination among US politicians of brain, spine & moral compass. Romney & Buttigieg cut from a similar cloth.

Two are married to US citizens, so swing and a miss mate.

Find me a quote of me saying illegal immigrants shouldn't be deported. I do believe in due process though, because I'd hate to be a legal resident thrown into a south american gulag without any recourse. Or if I was kicked out of the country I was actually born in.

If you’ve followed this, you’d know that it’s well documented and established (as even OGC alluded to before when he said Obama had deported more people than Trump) that ICE has so far only been enforcing the absolute lowest branches of immigration law — criminal aliens & aliens who already have final order of removal with due process.

And yet California is rioting, making it very obvious, and very predictable, that they’ll refuse to accept any enforcement of immigration law whatsoever.

I’m not sure how much clearer the evidence can be than “regardless of when they got here or whether they have papers or not” that California has less than zero intention of accepting any type of immigration law enforcement.
