It was around 1500 innocent Israeli's that were slaughtered at the Music festival that started the war. I guess the Palestinians should not start a war and then complain when they are losing it eh. Funny, I can't recall the people all over the place now waving Palestinian flags around calling for intifada and death to the israelis, waving Israeli flags around after October 7th attack calling for the death of the Palestinians?..why is that if they are against killing of innocents?

Oh, and not all Palestinians are terrorists, but an awful lot of the people supported what Hamas did

No not all. There are plenty of Palestinians who hate Hamas more than they hate Israel. However, there is no denying there were many Palestinians who cheered on and participated in the rape and slaughter of Israeli women and children.

It’s hard to believe there are still 7th of October hostages being held in Gaza. Where are the protests from the deranged Left demanding their release.

Your argument in summary, is that because of what Hamas did to Israeli civilians on October 7th, the rest of the Palestinians get what they deserve, and that they’re all terrorists?

I can’t fathom another person having the lack of empathy and decency to see pictures like this (and recognising this isn’t even close to the worst images of children to come out of Gaza) and maintain this attitude.

It’s un-Australian and not what we stand for in this country.

Israeli civilians didn’t deserve what Hamas did to them on October 7th just as Palestinian civilians don’t deserve what Netanyahu and the IDF have been doing to them since on a scale unprecedented in the 70 year history of this conflict, and what seems set to continue indefinitely because it is in both Hamas and Netanyahu’s interests to do so.

It’s a horrific situation with innocent people caught in the middle paying the price, and the UN needs to intervene to put a stop to the violence.

Do you understand that this is what people are protesting?

Do you understand there’s a distinction between condemning Netanyahu vs being anti-semitic just as there’s a distinction between condemning groups like Hamas and being anti-islamic?

Because when you get down to motivation, it is in Hamas’ interests for the violence against Palestinian civilians to continue.

Every Palestinian killed or injured, every child orphaned, every father that loses a child to Israeli rockets is another generation of potential families across the Middle East radicalised into extremism.

That’s why this conflict will continue for another hundred years, and why no-one will ever “win”.

You mean those statements that these terrorist supporting scum chant at glastonbury in their thousands, at mob masses across american cities, london, birmingham, manchester and many other places? These saying are not new either, they have echoed across the middle east and across the arab diaspora for much longer.

The lack of empathy is with them...they said not a word in condemnation for what hamas did to those innocent israelis. Hamas then chose to hide like rats in civilian areas and use their people as human shields. I already pointed out that the vast majority of palestinians SUPPORTED the oct 7 attacks..so again, where was the outrage for these people at the slaughter of israeli women, children and young adults? Its not us cheering on death and killing,

This rampant antisemitism thats been there is now openly espoused through western societies. Oh, remember that Egypt shut its border to gazans wanting to leave in the early days...so why are they not getting the 'love' from the kill israeli crowd?

It’s not true that people haven’t expressed sympathy for the 6,000 Israeli civilians murdered or injured and 250 taken hostage by Hamas on 7 October 2023. Check receipts on Google/social media.

And in the 2 years since, people have also expressed sympathy for the 100,000+ Palestinian civilians (including tens of thousands of innocent children) murdered, injured or starved by the Israeli government, and concern that this continues with no end in sight.

And as Australians we're morally on the same page of valuing all human life and not viewing certain groups as sub-human, so expressing sympathy for both groups caught in the middle of this war is a perfectly acceptable position to take, right?

I think thats a pretty clear statement isn't it.

So following on, where are the mobs waving israeli flags chanting death to the palestinians infecting every capital city week in week out like the pro hamas mobs with all their useful idiots are calling for the annihilation of israel and all its people. Its only one group of people chanting death and its absolutely aimed at the jews.

If i got up on stage and chanted death to the palestinians, or death to the muslims, i'd get arrested and jailed for it, so why are governments allowing rampant antisemitism to infect our 'enlightened' nations with virtual impunity?

As i said, don't start a war and cheer it on and then complain when you are losing...in fact, had they not attacked israel, the entire region would be very different right now
