Very comfortable with the views I’ve expressed in this thread, condemning war crimes and violence resulting in loss of civilian life on both the Israeli and Palestinian sides of this conflict, and would happily share these views in any public forum.

I wonder if you could say the same, and how your family, friends and co-workers would react if they heard your sociopathic and callous indifference to 10s of thousands of children being murdered, limbs amputated, starved, etc.

I note that the Torres Strait Islanders lost their futile court case against the federal government for not showing a duty of care to them on climate change.

The reason quoted was that the government didn't owe them a duty of care, but then the judges went on and on about how the government hadn't done a good job on climate-change measures and could have done more. Nowhere in their editorialising did they admit that the government could do absolutely zero that could lower the sea levels!

Why are they doing this when it's causing so much damage? I no longer think it's about jobs given immigration in some countries is having a negative impact to the economy/jobs (UK, Germany, Sweden). Is it all about inflating GDP numbers because surely there has to be some economic a reason as to why they are deliberately destroying their countries.

Want to reduce damage to the planet, how about we limit the number of resource users we manufacture. Current policies enable, even demand, continual population growth. We need to be going in the other direction. Less humans, more space for flora and fauna diversity. But try getting voted in with that as a policy.
