Stealing this idea from club boards (thanks Jivlain ) - the game is simple:
Pick one unique player from each round from AFL rounds 18 to 24.
Their AFL footballing score* is added to your score.
(* Goals and behinds )
Highest total score after round 24 WINS!
Post all 7 picks in one post in this thread in this format or maybe the magical BigFooty Scoring Computor won't be able to read your entry:
Round, Player Name, Club, Opponent Club
Example entry:
18, Mitch Georgiades, Port Adelaide, West Coast
19, Riley Thilthorpe, Adelaide, Gold Coast
20, Josh Treacy, Fremantle , West Coast
21, Ben King, Gold Coast, Richmond
22, Jeremy Cameron, Geelong, Essendon
23, Sam Darcy, Western Bulldogs, West Coast
24, Charlie Curnow, Carlton, Essendon
-> Unique players
-> All from different clubs
-> Never against the same club in consecutive weeks
RULES:
- All entries must be posted in this thread by the start of round 18 - 7:30PM AEST Thursday, July 10th.
- That's 7 names. One for each round from rounds 18 to 24. All submitted here before round 18 starts.
- Use the AFL web site's spelling for the player names. That's what the BigFooty Scoring Computor expects. Maybe it will let you get away with "Cam" vs "Cameron", or "Ben" vs "Bonjermin". Roll the dice and see!
- No player may be picked more than once.
- Players picked must all be from different clubs.
- Players picked may not be playing for clubs playing AGAINST the same team in consecutive weeks.
- If your player is scratched for that game, you get zip for that week. (Zip = 0 points) Same if the BigFooty Scoring Computor doesn't recognise your spelling of the player's name or the club name.
- The BigFooty Scoring Computor is infallible.
- DEADLINE: 7:30PM AEST Thursday, July 10th
FORMAT IN WHICH YOUR ENTRY MUST BE IN - Get this wrong and your entry won't register:

EXAMPLE for round 18 - probably get you a low score if you copy this one:
18, Cam Rayner, Brisbane, Carlton
Don't spell club names or player names incorrectly or pick AGAINST the same club in consecutive weeks or pick the same player more than once or pick any players from the same club more than once.
Just don't.
Club names are spelled thusly:
Adelaide
Brisbane
Carlton
Collingwood
Essendon
Fremantle
Geelong
Gold Coast
GWS Giants
Hawthorn
Melbourne
North Melbourne
Port Adelaide
Richmond
St Kilda
Sydney
West Coast
Western Bulldogs
If, in your post, you see that the "Opponent Club" is the same two weeks in a row, change one of those week's picks or you're gonna have a bad time.
If, in your post, you see a "Club" name more than once, change all but one of those picks or you're gonna have a bad time.
If, in your post, you see a "Player Name" that doesn't match what you see on the AFL web site, fix it or you're probably gonna have a bad time.
An example of a wrong pick:

17, Tooby Green, GWS, Eagles
18, Georgieadis, Port, WCE
Nick Larkey
...
Etc... Read the rules above or...
I will return at some point to hastily plaster over the holes in my rules. The BigFooty Scoring Computor is infallible.
