His tenure as senior coach at Kilmore commenced after the retirement of numerous players totalling several hundred games of experience, plus the departure of Chris Ryall to West Preston. The last couple of years have seen long term injuries to key players such as Taylor-Egan, Ben Barton, Crosbie etc. Desi has done a great job building this list and more importantly retaining juniors who in the past would’ve departed to nearby clubs. Desi has provided great service to the Kilmore footy club and has provided a strong foundation for the club to build on. Further to that, the culture and support network he brings with him is outstanding.

Agree Wamba. I thought we had more control of the game than the margin suggests but inaccurate kicking for goal kept it close. Good contest with both sides missing a few players, but huge result for the Hoes to get the 4 points in the context of finals aspirations.

Wasting there time if they did it to try and qualify them. 3 games off the pace with 4 games to go. Strategic for next year. There was room on the team sheet so pop their names down to get them a point off for 2026. No chance both played and didn’t feature in best or kick a goal and put up with playing in a thumping in the lowest level of the NFNL.

If true good thinking as don't think Ressa will get 50 points next year to play with after an improved season and all players over 1 point drop and point who stay.

Surely someone from Kilmore can tell us if they played, or suited up and sat on the pine or neither? You do actually have to suit up at least don’t you? Billy would be very easy to spot, a man mountain.
He did a long term injury so imo should drop a point even if he doesn’t play 5 pending a doctors letter for example

Yes, what’s the issue?
If they’ve been at your club and have a proper diagnosed injury stoping them from reaching 5 games I don’t see it as a massive issue.

West assistant doukas would be the perfect fit for them in my opinion. His got good footy smarts working alongside missen down there for years.
