Pity about the baggage that comes with him. Could ruins his career, let him make his own decisions

Maybe he needs to jump up a level or two for the next part of his development, but he also may want to play with his mates.
Rumour going around they’d love the young fella but his dad is asking too much in the contract part of things. Asking for certain senior games ect

Some massive games this weekend and selection to play a huge role you would think....

Lakers V Stars up the mountain ....do Burns, Pennrith and Farrant play? If not you would think mountain men a massive chance.

Kilmore v Epping - can the two blues keep the year alive or do Epping get a few back and make it a lot more difficult?

Mernda v Laurimar - the demons have been 'close' the past two weeks under Marshall - can they cause a big upset on their home deck or are sights now firmly focused on 2026. Power fantastic past two weeks and would like to finish Mernda's season.

West v Ressa - a host of players to return for West, will it be enough to beat this years big improvers?

Turtles v Hoers - Hearing a huge amount of changes at Ivanhoe this week - again - with unavailability (wedding & o/s) and injuries. Have a horrible record at the Dome v the Turtles and this will be an interesting watch.

Turtles v Hoers - seven changes for the Hoers including Otten and season regulars Wiggins, Robinson, Ernst, Bergman and Gravel, but get a few back with McIntyer and Mitchell. The Turtles also missing a couple from last week by the looks of things, but with the deck in good nick and sunny conditions I think the Hoers can get it done by 24 points.

Mernda v Lauimar - The Power are playing some super footy right now and looking very strong into a big finals campaign. Mernda also have been close the past two games against top 5 teams and are always hard to beat at home. The key here I feel will be who can hold the big fella up forward? The Power too good in the end and win this by 20 points.

West v Ressa - should be a good game also at West and the inclusion of Moore will add more depth to their midfield group in what shapes a great battle between the two on ball line ups. But I think Ressa will have far more options to score with Edwards and El Moussalli (back in) and get the chocolates by 17 points.

Kilmore V Epping - massive game for both clubs and Kilmore always a more difficult assignment up there. Epping missing around 6-7 of their better players from the last time they met at Epping's home ground. Macaffer had a day out last time and the tag did not really work, so what's the plan this time? This really is a flip of the coin with the two line-ups listed but the Pingers edge in a close one by 3 points. Maybe?

Kinglake v Stars - match of the day up the mountain with the Lakers a massive chance to to cause an upset against the top of the table team. Kinglake have been outstanding, especially at home this year, kicking massive scores/shots on goal. I think this is where it gets interesting as Betts and Farrant not playing up forward and Burns still not back - so can the Stars kick enough goals to win this one? What an great battle in the mids also - M-Mac and the Robinsons v Penrith and Proctors, whilst Florrence v Carter will be a ripper - Wow Wee. I'll edge to the Stars as they have been THE team all year, but no surprise if Lakers take this one, secure finals and back in the hunt for a double chance. Stars a point.

Cold, miserable day at Old Eltham. Job done. Move on.

You’d hope Mernda and Marshall would have some players coming in 2026. Because at the moment their list isn’t even close to good enough. I’m sure he will be asking some questions of some old teammates. But is old players the answer? Intersting off season coming for them.

roosterslife have some decent 19's. Need to continue to invest in youth. They should be a division 2 side but think they might have missed their chance.
One of Stars or Power will still be in Div 3 next year which means a good side still in the Division
Ivanhoe continue to get better, some similarities to Banyule

Hamish Shepheard and Luke Collins will be a couple of gun recruits at Mernda next year.
