Honest question, have we ever been 22 points down at some stage during the final quarter, and come back to win? If so, what game/s?

Most of the comebacks I can remember were during the third quarter, or with less to overcome in the fourth.

It was a remarkable achievement today, with the magpie army in full voice at the MCG no less.

Huge win. So many positives, but the main thing annoying me atm is our complete inability to keep the ball inside 50. If we manage to win a stoppage, still rebounds out easily.

Our small forwards are more skill than pressure. Would love a Shultz or McCeerey type in there.

The backline conceding just 1 goal in the 3rd quarter was massive, with the ball living down there.

Our set shot kicking has been unreal the last few weeks. Jye and Pat have improved heaps. Sean and Luke are dead certs. When Caleb kicked his early on I thought we were right in it.

I swear I thought this before the game even but he is absolutely in their top 5 important players. Daicos, Elliot, Cameron then him. Unbelievable defensive forward that can hurt offensively as well. Basically Switta on roids

Always seems to sound like on TV the Melbourne Freo fans are louder then the ones at Optus.

Maybe the noise at optus gets drowned out more because we have 80% of the crowd.

Where in away games its 10% of the crowd and the rest are slient.

Only ino the start of the 3rd quarter but by god these umpires are shit. Love giving away the 50 to the pies, consistently ignoring holding the ball, and jesus that Worner incident is nothing but pure arrogance.

Also, Chappie needs to be getting more love. Much maligned at the start of the season but he is solid in the backline for us.
