Midfield was abysmal today, really had their colours lowered, two ruck set up in the ruck was not it. Felt like every d50 entry was leading to a GC goal, really missing Noah.

Hoping it's just the wake up we needed leading into this final stretch of tough games, but did not like the way we went about it at all.

Having said all of that, doesn't mean the Suns weren't kissed on the d**k by the umps all day. They get a 720 to get rid of the ball (legally or illegally).

Team was outplayed and Fagan was out coached. Didn’t try anything different after the first half. Magnets must have been glued on. Hipwood has to be on notice after another nothing game, Starcevich is completely droppable, McInerney is off, Gardiner is not up to it anymore and Andrews had a shocker. The end will come quickly for some of these players. Worse still, our midfield looked like Brisbane Lions circa 2015.

Lester, Wilmot, Neale, Rayner and Fletcher can all hold their heads up. The rest of the team were handed their arses.

That was tough to watch , Suns just too good all over the ground .
We looked just very flat and like a team that had been playing in finals for about 6 years .
Glad we got the premiership last year , going to be a tough run home .

For the Vic media, if it didn't happen in Victoria or against a Victorian club, it didn’t happen.

Midfield got smacked in stoppages and around the ground like never before and we didn't have an answer. Everything was a flow on from that. I'd give defense a mulligan considering the amount of clean ball that was coming in.
