Also gotta say the booing of Harley Reid is just dumb. Boo him when he does something wrong like gaff but it just looks and sounds stupid and petty. Yes he’s a flog but don’t be eagles fans and boo for no reason

Very much agree on the Hardly Reid boos. He is a flog but surely we are better as a supporter group than the Wiggles folk. No need to boo him at all unless he does something specific.

After the last 3 weeks I'm feeling really good about this team and I have trust in them for the first time under JL, we should fear no one in the run home and I can see us winning all 4 games and securing the double chance. Our Key forward trio is amazing and they are all still pups. No ceilings in my opinion and no reason we can't win the whole thing this year.

He's a great individual player but I think the jury is out on if I'd want him in my team TBH.

Roves a stoppage, gives a fend off, whips onto his right foot, and nails it from 50m off two steps. There are right footers in our team that can't do that.
He's not ambidextrous in a Aker or Sam Mitchell sense, but he's much more capable on his non-preferred than most players IMO.

Passes it off the Banfield under pressure wider from goal and it missed.

After that we couldn't kick a goal.

If he rips a crucial goal in a final then all is forgiven. Don't mind him in the centre mix either but need a balance cause he isnt burrowing into packs to win the ball.

Literally less than 10% of the crowd were booing regularly. The only time he really copped it was when lining up for goal. I thought it was pretty tame tbh. He's the only villain in a bland team. Not much to get excited about otherwise.

I couldn't believe there are still freagles turning up to the game with our memberships to watch their team when they're so putrid.
It's just always good to win any derby, and see the best 15 players on the ground all wearing purple. That's all. Pretty much a snoozefest in reality

I have to stop myself from asking why does he even bother coming, but hey he pays his money.

Last night I found out why, when he arrived decked out in putrid blue and gold and was even more painful.

That was a tough kick for Dudley. There was a reasonably strong northerly blowing. On ground level it can also swirl around to another direction. Kicking straight from that pocket was very hard. A few others missed as well. Freddy nailed one and that was an exceptional set shot.

From my perspective the boos started when his ugly mug appeared on the big screen. It was just after he shushed the crowd after kicking a goal when 50 points behind, so people were ready to get stuck into him.

It only carried on for a short time, but as it became clearer he was actually injured and kept heading to the sidelines, then the boos stopped for the most part and people started clapping him off the ground like a normal injured player.
