I think Yze gave him the 2 because he went off the stat sheet.

I’m happy with my assessment.

I think you better get prepared for Mitchell being out this week for Pendles.

Wouldn’t have thought so

Sullivan out. Pendles in
Dean out. Frampton in
Allan out. Hill in
Markov out. Howe in

The only question comes is if De Goey comes back in and if he does, my guess is Sidebottom or Crisp get a rest before Mitchell comes out

How many weeks did Pez get?
It’s the Richmond player’s fault for dropping the mark. If he’d just held on to it we could all have golf-clapped him, instead of ****ing it up and bringing the umpires into the equation to commit yet another desecration of our game.

Nah, surely Pez gets 4 weeks.

Two for tunnelling two for denying an opponent mark of the year!

Isn't it sacrilegious to suggest we rest Crisp? 😀

Normally I'd say yes?

But he's long since smashed the record now and I doubt anyone goes near it for a while and he really looks like he needs it.

Both he and Steele have been quite down on normal output.

Could be the heavier loads at their age but who knows.

Bizarre isn't it? I've hardly heard anything about Lions getting smashed. I think someone called it a blip. 11 goals is more than a blip.
I think it's more a reflection of the lense that's applied by those who, for want of a better term, 'drive the narrative'.

The media have been falling over themselves to reinforce that Gold Coast have 'made it'. They proclaimed this 2 weeks ago when they hung on for grim death against a misfiring Pies side, however there was an almost flippant dismissal of their non-performance the following week, as it was an inconvenient reality to the contrived narrative.

You can stop any time you like. I’m not forcing you to be in this convo :)

Perryman looked at Green then walked into his path and stepped to right whilst getting no where near the ball.

Where the fall of the ball was is irrevalnt since the ball didn’t actually fall to Perryman. Had it actually got through to him you’d have a point.

Perryman literally impedes Green’s run and jump at the ball. Not sure why you keep insisting he didn’t.

What Perryman should have done was jump at the ball go for the spoil and use his leg to block Green. By staying on the ground it meant he didn’t get close to ball in the marking contest which opened himself up to a free. Him looking at Green and stepping to the right was practically begging an umpire to blow the whilstle.

You can believe that but the consensus is that was a genuine howler of a free kick.

Even Jack Riewoldt last night On the Couch had this as his "bad" and asked what Perryman could've done otherwise.

Players are always biased to the non free kick/suspension opinion.

My last paragraph outlined what Perryman could have done within the rules regardless.
I hope a decision like the Perryman one doesn't cost us a grand final, you would be the only person arguing it as correct while the rest of us would be crying/ complaining, anything else you can think of about the shocking call

Supporters always show interest in young developing sides. As we did with the Baby Bombers and Bulldogs.

On the flip side, if Jamie or Bobby went for mark and was blocked like that in the dying seconds of a GF to win the game I’d hope we get the free kick…

There’s no way she’s been doing it for 45 years. I’ve been a very regular footy attender since I stopped playing about 30 years ago and I’ve only noticed it the last 5-6 years at most.
I sat in section M32, row O on the weekend, right next to the cheer squad and didn't notice it.....thankfully. What an annoying noise and I'd be staggered if any player from the opposition noticed it sufficiently for it to have any influence over their ability to execute on the field. She seems nice enough about it, but it's bizzare to think those sitting around her haven't asked her to refrain if she is that persistent with it

What he did was within the rules. There is nothing different he could have done except quickly rush off to Bunnings and buy his opponent a stepladder.
