I think Goodwin would probably be an upgrade on VB and/or Scott Burns.

Burns is our forward coach, and our forward line is the envy of the competition. Why would we move him on?

I’ve never really thought anyone deserves a flag that didn’t get one. Although, it’s probably less the literal interpretation and more a statement about how highly you rate a players contribution to their club.

That's not really true. There are definitely players who deserved a flag who never got one. You can start with Pavlich, Richardson and N Riewoldt as the big names and then look at guys like Nathan Jones next. (I don't count Bob Murphy because... I just don't think the dogs deserved that flag to begin with)

Love Travis Boak, is the only Port player I will ever say I like.

Amazing human being, Amazing AFL player, wish Boak all the luck in whatever he decides to do post AFL.

I think Boak is their version of Sloane. Heart and soul player, resisted the offers to go back home, gave his all for the club. But also went on a couple of seasons too long and in the end, we were kind of sick of seeing him as a shell of his former self.

Then he finally hangs up the boots, and supporters of all other clubs would say "can't stand the Crows, but you have to like Sloane, massive respect, what a champion", and meanwhile us Crows supporters were mostly just saying "it's about time."

The real kick in the guts will be when Melbourne hire a decent coach and play Finals next year.

With them struggling with Josh Carr.

Bonus points if it is Nathan Buckley the Dees hire.

More bonus points if it's with Hinkley at the helm.
