I wouldn't say it's stupidly unlikely.
It's very unlikely when a) we haven't lost a game by more than 3 goals after 20 rounds and b) Geelong struggled to a 7 goal win against a VFL side at home. Sydney have their full midfield back and are in form, they aren't beating them by 50 at the SCG (a ground Geelong don't have a great record at).

Where do you think the Crows get most of their goals from?

Also from turnover.

It’s just a reality that most top teams are also teams that punish you on turnover.

Scoring from clearances is a less likely source, followed by scoring from kick-ins.
Of course they do. My point is that our skills are currently way better than Essendon’s so if we meet Geelong we should be able to limit their main source of scoring

Been saying that for years. Drives me crazy.

Balls being squeezed drives you crazy?

Can we please try and keep the smut down to a minimum?

Normallly I couldn't care less, but we're finals bound and people need to start taking this seriously.

We should be beating Collingwood by 10 goals given the form they’re in. % won’t be a concern.
The last piece of a terrific minor premiership for the Crows is a convincing win against the Pies next week.

They've been able to get the better of our best efforts of the past few years. But this Crows team is our best they have met.

A good win gets the last monkey off our back. Belief, at that point becomes real.

Don't be too sure.

I did the ladder protector with us beating WCE and North by 20 and losing to Collingwood by 20 and our percentage drops back to Geelong's.

I mean yeah, if we perform like utter shit against West Coast and North we would finish below Geelong

They play Sydney at the SCG next week, it was always going to take something ridiculous for them to gain that much percentage.
It really wasn't. If we lost to Collingwood they only needed to win each game by 20-30 points more than us to overtake us.

A lot tougher now, but I still expect Richmond to completely roll over in R24. And us to beat Collingwood anyway.

I'm concerned at the reported heaviness of Optus and how it might affect the legs for next week

Hopefully the coaches look at it

It really was, unless you ignore the fact that we play the bottom 2 teams. And 1 of them is about the worst performing team of the modern era.

I would.

Our last 5 games against Collingwood have been decide by 10 points or less and that includes 3 games at the G. Our last 3 games against Collingwood at Adelaide Oval have been decide by 5 points or less dating back to 2021.

This side we have is miles better than any over the past 4 years.

It will either be another close Collingwood win or we will win comfortably (4-5 goals).
We win this.

Neck out - bookmark it.

...unless we shit the bed and don't win it. 🤣

Yeah. I mean we're looking at Geelong's fixture lamenting their percentage boosters but they'd be doing the same looking at our percentage boosters worrying we could put more separation between us

jezza squeezing the ball makes him way more unlikeable. Hope he gets stranded on 99
It can be annoying especially because he does it virtually every set shot. Have seen lots of forwards doing this before a set shot. I even saw Keays do it not so long ago. Theory is it flattens the 'pointy' ends of the ball and lessens the margin for error off the boot. Not kidding.

Expecting Sydney to knock off Brisbane today for some reason, Think Neale is going to be a big loss and Lions might have a off day after there pies win last week.

What??? That’s not right. Let’s say we win 100-40 (10 goals) our percentage will rise!

The Collingwood game will bring our percentage down

Currently
For 2019
Against 1401
Percentage 144.1

Let's say we lose to Collingwood 110 o 90

For 2109
Against 1511
Percentage 139.5

The percentage is closer that we think it is.

We really need Sydney to win or score high and keep the scores course against Geelong next week
