Giving that Adelaide might lose to Collingwood if that happens Geelong will be be really keen to increase their %. Although the Swans have fought hard in recent weeks, they will be no match for Geelong here.

Geelong by 40 points.

I'm hoping that Sydney played their GF for the season last Saturday and will be emotionally and especially physically flat for what is essentially a meaningless game for them this coming Sunday.

Rest your boys and take it easy this Sunday Swans. No need to expose your boys to pointless injury risk in a meaningless end of season game for your club.

You should probably hope we're about to play our GF for the season this Sunday

Kudos for seeing the humorous side of the past 2 Grannies involving Sydney. Personally I still can't make light of the Ablett sides that could not get over the final hump in the late 80s and 90s.

Thanks. It's comforting to know that even if we win another 3 or 4 premierships, the losses will still haunt me until my death.

Win and home final is basically guaranteed. Lose and might be out of top 4 or need to travel to Adelaide or Queensland. Quite simple equation! Grundy out helps but swans mids and their slingshot style they rolled out vs lions-would worry Geelong as defending transition against better teams not so good. And swans one of the better teams in the last 2 months!
Cup on the line in this one!
