He will get at least a one year contract with some club in future. If the one year is smooth, he could earn some good money again on shortened contracts. No club will be offering him a 7 year deal
His life at the dogs is finished , its how 2026 is managed.
Sydney might take him for 2026 but with the Dogs paying half his salary or its possible he sits out 2026 and the AFL gives the dogs salary cap relief

We tried to terminate Stengle’s contract and weren’t able to. Remember how long that went on for and the end result was an internal season suspension. JUH is being a petulant shit, but not sure how he’d meet any threshold for bringing the game into disrepute.

If you are paying over half there is not that much difference and the example it would set to all AFL players thinking of doing the same would be well worth it.

Murmurs this morning is he will choose Sydney. It will be a way for him to escape the media and scrutiny for sure so its definetly the right move. I suspect also that Sydney have the best role for him, the biggest need and can also satisfy Bulldogs in any trade given they hold their 3rd and 4th rounder and then all future picks. Could see a deal of say Xavier O'Hallaran moving to Doggies, JUH to Sydney and picks to GWS

Sydney have more options to work the deal then Geelong did anyway so think it suits them too
