Please explain your exclusion of Crisp. I need to understand this logic
He’s been an absolute passenger since the suns game, looks like he’s got no legs.

Turns ball over constantly and rarely has any impact anymore.

Has looked like he needs a rest for a good month

Went at 50% against hawks.

47% against lions (from only 15 touches).

only 16 touches against Richmond.

44% against freo.

47% against the suns

Has truly been down on form for a long period of time, nowhere near the damaging player he can be. IMO he should of had a rest by now but the club didn’t want to break his games record.

There’s a few that should be ahead of him

Long lipinski etc

Yeah Lipinski hasn’t been the same since coming back in after suns game. Looks very ordinary when going for a contest which has always been my gripe with him, soft as butter.

Long I still rate his tenacity at the contest, still needs a lot of work on his disposal though.

To be fair I agree he’s down stats don’t lie. But I can also think of at least 3-4 players that should come out before him.

Longs tenacity all amounts to not much because he gives the ball back to the opposition constantly
45 percent disposal efficiency last night
10 out 22 effective disposals
lol

To be fair I agree he’s down stats down lie. But I can also think of at least 2 players that should come out before him. Lippa and De Goey. De Goey has been poor since coming back but is improving each week. Lippa gets knocked off the ball so easily in high pressure games like last night

Yeah Lippa is weak as piss, plays soft and scared too often. I’m hoping next season Harvey Harrison will be ready to come in and replace him.

De Goey I think has to stay in purley based off he needs to get his body back to AFL level. Don’t think he’s the type of player who can play vfl.

Why wasn't this tried last night? This is what frustrates me. Moore was struggling in defense-McStay was terrible in the forward line. Swap them. For 15 minutes and see what happens. Nope. And he never will consider it at any stage of any game.

Moore struggling in defense? I wouldn't say our backline struggled last night.

McStay stank it up again. His best position is now the VFL

Jaicos back to a wing of middle. We need our best ball users delivering the ball into the 50. He should of been pushed up last night.

Is it just me or does nobody else think Degoey is done? He just can't move to be in AFL level.

Allan has to play. Lipinski out but he was undone by the club by being rested when he hit career best form.

Moore was putrid last night however he can not be used as a one on one defender.

Instruct Darcy Cameron to move the ball quickly when he marks down back. He and sidey always seen to use there alloted time when they mark.

Lower the eyes to everyone. Players on there on own 45 out and we trying to hit hero passes.

I have mentioned previously, to me l don't think Fly is too happy with Bobby at the moment. I can feel a sense of real disappointment in him...
Unless Morris was completely making shit up, this week had a bad smell. Here's a list of Bobby's preferences. Doesn't get his preference s. Nor does he play VFL. I'll be very surprised if he's in against Melbourne.

Another players performance that went under the radar against the crows was Framptons. He was just about back to his best, it was brilliant to see. With Howe returning down there, it may just juice things up enough to let the backline properly hum again.

Our defense and rebound last night was quite good, our players looked a lot cleaner than usual (and in the wet mind you). Our issues atm reside in the forward line. Elliott, Mihocek and McStay are all failing to provide a lead up to our midfielders which constantly results in high balls being dumped on their heads, sandwiched between 3 opposition defenders. Inevitably it leads to f#ck all marks inside 50, hence the high F50 entry stat with no return.

They are basically trying to throw a tennis ball through a pin hole over and over and over again. You can sure as hell try a million times, but i won't go in much. Our forwards need to be providing better options in open space, and our mids need to be looking for them.

Bobby no certainty according to fly
Won’t play for us again I suspect. He understandably would want to be near his kids. Can’t do that playing for Collingwood.

Sadly, his family issues appear to have negatively affected our season, unfortunately.

After doing the ladder prediction with various results and margins I ended up with one outcome having Collingwood and GC in 4th and 5th with equal points and identical percentage. Anyone know what happens if that were the case??

I'm not expecting him to be playing against Melbourne, in turn l'm not expecting to see him play again this season. You can't seriously go into a finals match with no match conditioning.
I'm also expecting to see him traded and playing in WA next year...
To me this is one of the most disappointing stories in the competition this season...

I think things were ok until this week. But it reeks of Bobby not liking the decision to give him another week of preparation and going to the media to plead his case, rather than suiting up for the VFL.

One good thing about last night our percentage didt drop by much was only 3 points in it so still heatlhy percentage.
Nothing but a say 36 point win v dees this friday night will do.
In the scheme of things if this was to happen the tilt is back any hint of this game been close and you can forget this season.
Must win and must win this by say 6 goals at least to extend the percentage.
Could do it on percentage alone beside points.
Methinks its Hills swan song this game.
Thanks for 2023 Norm but we need to move on with your antics.
As i think Howe slots back in.
Got Lipinski and Allan omitted.
Fly hinted that Nick daicos might be due for a rest for the dees game.
Still a big watch on Suns and hawks i hope port beat suns and lions beat the hawks.
Even tho we are playing like crap still holding out hope we finish there in 4th i had us in 7th before the start of the season.
Must put dees away early and keep on putting them away see what the hawks did yesterday.
Tip: Pies win by 36 points

It just seems the club isn't wanting to play him, and if he's not playing now, how does he play in a final? You would think if the goal was to get him match ready for the finals he would be playing against Adelaide and Melbourne..

I know this is a divisive topic on here…

2023 we played two rucks
Cameron number 1, Cox number 2.

For the finals, we flipped it and Cox did more. Personally I prefer him in the ruck. At least centre bounces. He taps it to advantage. Cameron just wrestles and is beaten by the likes of Gawn, Xerri etc.

I’m Hail Mary passing here and want to try that again. Cox main ruck. Cameron second and they rest forward.

And fly Cox’s parents in!

McStay needs to stay put in the forward line. Moving him back and forth has not worked. Still think he’s possibly off his game, worried about doing yet another knee with his recent history.

He should have played vfl. Something is not right. I can't see him playing next week unless it's vfl

Think they use the game played between those two clubs to decide it. So they would be ahead.

Edit: googled and found this

If percentage is also tied, a countback of points scored in matches between the two teams is used, and if still tied, a coin toss determines the final position
