I haven’t really heard many supporters on here (Collingwood ones anyway) asking for a detailed report on what the personal circumstances are - rather a better understanding of the players availability.

Well I've seen plenty say along the lines of there's more to this than we're being told, this is BS, we're owed the truth, what's really going on, yadda yadda yadda.

If Fly says he can't confirm on a Saturday night after a match if he'll play this weekend & he needs to do a full week's training before being considered, then that's enough info for me.

There are multiple rumours floating around about what the reasons &/or issues are. And they're all different.

So no, I don't think it is. It's just whichever rumour you have chosen to believe.

One thing we need to see this weekend apart from the obvious, the win, is for us to kick at least 15 goals, we need to find a way to get the scoreboard ticking over.

Our lack of scoring power is a real issue, we need to get our forwards in form and confident. We have made our games so much closer because our general dominance is rarely reflected on the scoreboard .
3 losses under a goal in 6 weeks are all because we didn’t take the opportunities we created

At least it looks more intimidating than a 194 cm one! Seriously, I wonder who Keane would have been more concerned about last night-Mihocek or Cox. He had Checkers in his pocket all night. He sat behind him and just punched the pill away with ease every contest. He would not have been able to do the same to Cox without infringing at some point and if umpires treated Cox with the same consideration, they do Jeremy Cameron or Curnow he would have kicked ten more goals than he has this year.

Agree we need to give Adel defenders headaches and disrupt their rhythm.
Play Cox in the Ruck and DC Ruck/forward would be left field thinking.

The club has stated that Hill is dealing with complicated personal issues and this statement was made at the very beginning of his absence. Nothing has changed here and the constant speculation, innuendo and questions, fuelled in part by the media and amplified by the cesspit of social media, adds nothing relevant or meaningful.

Nobody, and certainly not supporters, is owed or deserves anything more in terms of explanation. Move on and accept Hill is not playing and unless the club says otherwise, will not be playing for the foreseeable future.

I have little interest about the personal reasons, but I am really interested in the club side of it and Bobby's relationship with the club. This is the bit I find odd about people's reading of this. Why do you think they lied? Especially as why would they lie when they could have very easily gone back to "personal reasons" if that was the case?
