It's just strange how anyone who points out that St Kilda is likely creating a huge problem for themselves with these 2 monster contracts (like nothing we have ever seen before) gets almost crucified for it online and in the media.

Let's just wait and see how things pan out. My bet is that several very good players will be leaving this off season.

Far be it for me to agree with Elmo but what would you call it then? He's obviously backing himself to go better in 2 years time and no doubt assessing how the aints go over the next 2 years as well, but he turned down a guaranteed $30M as well as the safety of moving back to his hometown. Its a massive risk. Concussions, injuries he doesn't fully recover from etc etc. As Elmo said 95%+ of players would have taken the deal in a heart beat and you wouldn't blame them. For him to stay absolutely shows some loyalty to the aints.
