A couple of newish words from the "entertainment" industry:

Fluffer Been around since the 70's in certain circles but virtually unknown until the early 2000's. Becoming increasingly common.

Kayfabe Another that has been in use since probably the 50's but is a very interesting word with a very specific meaning.

I knew fluffer before 2000.
