The Werribee link started this year. Guess is that it’s a way of saving money and also reduces the wear and tear on Arden St.
A number of clubs, including *, cut back funding to their VFLW teams this year including stopping the match payments of around $50 per game which is pretty bloody miserly. North still pay their players which is money well spent.
