I suspect Charleson will get a new contract. As will Motts. Out of the remainder, Monahan is an Irish cat B, so he should be safe. I reckon Young and White will get a 12 month extension. And that leaves Gov… who I suspect will be trade bait. If Wet Toast is interested in Lij, I wonder if we’d be bundling Lij and Gov together to get the Wet Toast second.

Hi Guys...can you let me know if JSOS and TDK did a lot of ruck work teaming together whilst at Carlton?

Jack is not a true second ruck, not in the way you guys used to use Ryder and Marshall. He's good to give a big lumbering ruck like Pitto a spell as he breaks even in the ball up and then acts as an extra mid at stoppage, but wouldn't want him doing a 50/50 or even a 60/40 split of ruck time with another ruck.

10 years ago, we started what we understood to be a painful rebuild that would set us up for sustained success. This is what we’re left with after the pain:

Newman, McGovern, Pitto, McKay, Curnow, Weitering, Cottrell, Walsh, Kemp.

Newman missed this year and is probably heading into his final season. McGovern could be gone by end of trade period. Pitto likely to be our primary ruck again. McKay missed half the year. Curnow wants out. Weitering in search of a partner down back. Cotters, Walsh and Kemp all struggled to get on the park.

9 players left out of the 63 that SOS brought into the club during his tenure. The list of players we missed on doesn’t make for pretty reading.

That’s if their wanted player/s will drop to that position.

You have called players like Cowan, Kemp, Pittonet and Cottrell back-up quality which seems harsh given what they have shown at AFL level.

Conflicting information regarding ison some people don't have him in there top 40 then you hear reports he could be a early 2nd rounder, don't think we are going to have a problem with Gresham he looks like a late 3rd rounder
