I'm not looking forward to the GWS v Hawthorn game even though it's probably the only 50/50 game of the finals.

We either see a horrendous jumper clash or Hawthorn in a hideous clash jumper.

One would assume they'll wear the home with white shorts, and in the afternoon sun of Engie it'll look really orange too

Any chance GWS pull out the charcoal 'never surrender'?

If not, I do think Hawks in that brown clash jumper with the white number panel + white shorts is the best available match-up (even though it's a terribly ugly jumper).

Based on their last few matches though, I do expect Hawks in their yellow home jumper + white shorts which won't be ideal in the sun.

I can't see why it won't be this.

That two toned brown jumper we have is too close to the charcoal spectrum at a distance on TV to be an appropriate clash strip for this match-up.

Stock standard tonight? Collingwood in Clash or home with white shorts?

Geelong vs Brisbane is iffy for me. During finals it should be Geelong in white and Brisbane full home, but it'll probably be the same as last year's Preliminary Final

Will be highly unlikely for GWS to, we have all but confirmed it's for GC or Swans games now. Only in 2021 we wore it against Geelong seeing it was the first season of the Guernsey, plus the luck it brought against Sydney in the elim final.

Will be interested to see if, assuming Geelong and Brisbane wear Home/Navy, Fitzroy/White like usual tomorrow, if they come around to the GF and replicate that? Or do Brisbane want to wear the Home, or not seeing as they've won in the Jumper already last year.

I think it would depend on the result in either instance. I feel like if Brisbane win and play Geelong again they'll wear Maroon; lose and it'll probably be the Fitzroy jumper.

Then again, it'll probably be Maroon vs White for the GF regardless.

We wore our home jumper in 2023. We'd 100% wear our home jumper if we played Geelong in a GF

So, with last night's results now in play, if the Crows still go through and play Collingwood again, are Collingwood now the "home" team? Or does the Crows finishing top still override that?
Pretty sure Collingwood would be the designated home team like Hawthorn were in 2015 after knocking off West Coast in the first week.

2015 is irrelevant in this case, the rule changed less than a week out from the 2016 GF when 7th was going to be “hosting” 1st. It’s now just the higher placed team as the “home” team, meaning Adelaide will be listed first no matter what should they make it to the GF.

Hmm, I thought the winners of the qualifying finals become the top two seeds and the remainder are determined by ladder position. Imagine if we had actual home ground advantage on grand final day and Collingwood had to play Adelaide at Adelaide Oval.

Shouldn't matter anyway - no home in GF.

Where both teams can wear home jumper without clashing, side with most white (ie pies) should wear white shorts.

I feel like a Pink with White shorts combo is definitely best for this game, and to be honest with the way the Pink jumper has done for sales, and that they’ve bought it back for extra games, I could see them wearing it during a final.
I would agree, but do Gold Coast even have white shorts made up this year? I don’t recall seeing them at all. They’ve always just gone full red with the home, blue with the yellow clash and grey with the pink
