I live in Adalaide, so most of it here is about SA but it does also bring up the other Non-Vic teams. The conspiracy theorists believe that most of Victoria is going to be cheering on Sam Mitchell, Sicily, Ginnivan and Watson this weekend because Victorians are terrified of Non-Vic success. And that the AFL and the umpires are part of the conspiracy and will try to keep the SA team down.

When a footy commentator talked out against homophobic sledging without mentioning Rankine and the Crows it was a tagetted attack designed to keep the Crows down.

When a commentator said the suspension should be consistent with prior suspensions, it was a targetted attack to keep the SA team down.

When Wheatley went on a rant about the AFL's flip flopping on the suspension length without mentioning Rankine or the Crows - it was a tergetted attack on the SA team designed to ruin their premiership chances.

Even when Rory Sloane said that the Houston made me do it defence was a shit defence, he'd sold out and become part of the cartel targetting the SA team.

I don't know how many of the conspiracy theorists there are, but they're bloody vocal. It's Trumpian nonsense, but it gets a pretty big audience over here.
