SEN reporter says the ‘Scott Incident’ was over an issue regarding who attended his press conference.

It went something like this - it’s not verbatum.

CS - Why are those people at my conference

AFL - They are AFL accredited.

CS - I’m not happy with them being here, I want them removed

AFL - I can’t do that, they’re accredited

CS - Well I want them out……yadda yadda.

The journo said there was no abuse, however his inquisatorial manner upset the AFL rep.

My own view is the Scotts are known bullies -

• It may not have been intentional,
• She was probably a junior in the AFL Media team (setting up mics, checking accred etc)
