Planning to upgrade Sheerin atm. Not sure who to, but perhaps Garner if she seems to have recovered well but goes down 130k or so.

Possible outs: Howley (peaked), C Murphy (possibly to Tipping), or P Scott.

Unless it's to Garner, there's no way you'd trade out Riddell.

Yeah Riddell is in for the long haul.

I'm moving out Fish and O'Shea along with probably Amber Clarke who just made her BE. No way I can get back to Garner though...unless there's like a ~350k downgrade I can field down back, and swap Clarke for Young, think it'll be about 500k to get from Zippy this week.

FWD/MID. Ella Robertsish. Averaged 33 disposals as a 15-year old at the Champs in 2021, then played more forward in 2023. Still averaged 17 disposals and 3 goals per game. Has played mid and forward in the SANFLW. Edit: Apparently she has also played out of defence, after doing some reading. Also won the SANFLW B+F as a 15-year old.

You'd think she'll start as a forward at AFLW level. She has had two ACLs in the last three years. It might take her some time to get up to the pace. FWIW, I'm going to give her a week and see what she does. That way I can do Sheerin down and two on-field upgrades (one of which will be Georgie to Garner).

I'm thinking that upgrading Scott at F5 is a more pressing matter than bringing in Heath. I can hold Ott/Boyd/Bacon/Ebert for another week and potentially double upgrade there next week (more likely two down, one up). Woodland is the most obvious forward target out of the forwards I don't have. My Saints brain would love to justify bringing in Richards, but that feels like an unnecessary risk.

Ott has filled in superbly for Boyd, thankfully. Back to 1,523rd overall in rank after sliding out to 3k in Round 3.

Have $467k in the bank and looking to bring in a big dog for M5, and perhaps fix my F5 in Butler.

Grieves/Rowley have the coin also to trade in to help punt the other to a genuine premo (Garner), and hopefully swing Butler to a half decent scorer.

I think the moves you're looking at are about right. I'd be prioritising M5 followed by F5. If you can get Garner plus a decent upgrade for Butler, I'd do that. Defence looks solid for the moment.

Just no idea who to upgrade Butler to? Only have $663k to work with in terms of finding an upgrade. Do I downgrade to this Young everyone is chatting about and make some $$ to then do a downgrade of Ott to a rookie next week to fund the F5 upgrade next round?

Butler for Ponter (Suns matchup and a midfield role for the Crows means its an easy pick imo)

Riddell has probably peaked in price, but she'll end up a Top 6 mid. I don't really care if she loses cash, it's like Goldsworthy/Strom/Ham/Molloy, gunna lose cash, still gunna want them at the end barring injury.

Did anyone catch the Bris/NM game and watch Koenen? DFS hasn't been updated yet, but I'm assuming her CBA's are gone for good?



Here's my side pre-trades, was hoping to go Ott -> Boyd (if named), but probably need to deal with Koenen who will bleed and the role seems to have evaporated. Contemplating YOLO'ing it and going with:

Howley -> Young (even if not named, ranks good enough I need to nail the captaincy, and Howley has peaked)
GPres -> Garner

Gets me a keeper, cash for upgrades next week (Ott -> TLR), and hopefully a slight bit of cashgen.

Sides starting to come together, love the matchups this round coming, just need some live rookies. I can't wait to yeet Kos into oblivion.

Trouble is Fish has GWS, which should see a return to ok accumulation and resultant score.
Always a reason to do or not do a particular trade.

I think Fish will go +/- 10 of her BE. Don't see much cash gen left, but Garner you could wait a week on (I'm not, I like the Carlton matchup and think this'll go close, I want her).

EDIT: Fish got CBAs last round per DFS? Could wait a week and see if there's something in it.

Depends on your other priorities. I really wanted Gardiner for last weeks Pies game, went Hore instead who both outscored and outcashgen'd her in a matchup I didn't love.

Jaiden has dropped the Top 100/1000 ownership stats, and a lot more than I expected still have Fish on field, let alone own her. I expect that will change dramatically this week though.
