Anyone going to provide a logical response? I’m still none the wiser as to why Geelong get shafted so badly

The games usually attract upwards of 80,000 fans and the MCG is the most suitable venue, allowing more fans from both teams as well as AFL/MCC members to attend. It's common sense.

Its not about fans though. Its about fairness.

You mean an actual oval where yardage matters and you cant just boot the ball to a pack on the wing to waste time like that ridiculous circle we call the mcg.

An actual oval would be symmetrical, and not have a flat line as one of it's wings.

Lol its like 2 metres diff. Ive been to the ground like 100 times. You cant even tell its not perfectly even either side.

Did people know they used to move the position of the mcg goals up to 20 metres to certain sides in the 90s within the same season when the goal squares got muddy to help the grass grow back. Made the ground far far far more unbalanced then kardinia park. No one gave a crap then. Cos its irrelevant. Both teams play on the same ground.
