Some Pies fans are just too biased to see that Pies have glaring hole offensively.

Admit that Pies have amazing elite defense, probably best in the league and ideal for Finals... but the lack of scoring punch is a weakness.. Melbourne is a perfect lesson to learn from.

Pies need to improve their attacking to support their elite defense.

Lions maybe middle of the ground defensively, but it don't matter when their offensive attack keeps the other team busy scrambling....

Pies need to get punchier attack wise.

I think Pies not having Bobby was bad.... against Lions. Becaude simply Pies couldn't score enough against Lions. You need to put them under pressure so their mids are busy defending inside the defensive 50 and not running down for goals or breaking down defense.

Naicos putting up with tags most weeks and also carrying the Pies play making takes its toll...

Will Ashcroft having McCluggage, Neale, Ah Chee, His brother etc. Helping spread out the defensive attention helps him tremendously.


Pies need to put a Gun Superstar next to Naicos so teams can't focus on Naicos and watch him put up 50 disposal games.

Even a fair few neutrals are banging on about it. Ashcroft has the benefit of a star studded midfield who do all the dirty work, he can just mop up and set up chains.

Doesn't have to carry the load that nick does. So annoying when people can't see that.
