Bailey is a gun and would’ve had the normie if he kicked straight. He hit the scoreboard on average 3 times per game which is a pretty good return and to go with 20 touches per game. Absolute weapon.

Plays one of the best all time preliminaries.

Starts, goes off 5 minutes into the first and goes for a toilet break? I mean what the actual ….?

And then totally missing for the remainder of the game.

For supposedly one of the greats, that was an all time poor performance.

He's old. Nobody should've expected a repeat performance. The prelim was a miracle performance that we'll never see again from Danger. Hawks very unlucky.

Danger breaking Cameron’s arm is a fair bit of Kama after all the opponents he has damaged with his blatant disregard.
Leaving Cameron on and not subbing him out was total arrogance by their heirachy and Martin was ready to replace him in a direct position swap so stupid game management by the cats.
I was just thrilled they lost and has made my summer a whole lot better knowing the cats aren’t premiers this year!!!

Doctors should be slammed. It might of started out as a fracture but then that second time surely was broken, completely bad look to show a player continuing playing and allowing him to put himself through that.

Funny how Martin didn’t think we managed him properly when if the wind blew the wrong way he and players like Williams would be subbed off before they could be asked if they’re ok.

Whately will talk about it being brave, if another club did it we know what would be sprouted.

Will go generally unheralded, but Big O was very good in the forward line in the second half.

Was always keeping a Geelong defender, often SDK, away from the fall of the ball.

I can't remember the last time I saw one of our talls do that. Maybe Pitto?TDK had a habit of jumping at the ball rather than protecting space for Charlie or Harry.

Our midfield Cripps, Hewett possibly Acres if we don't trade him... how is that going to compete with Brisbane? No chance in hell...

I'm glad GW is refreshing the list. If he gets it wrong, unfortunately, its just more bad luck... but its def the right strategy to take us forward to a flag.

We do have a few but i dont think we have too much to worry about. Cripps is big enough to play forward and Newy will have a couple of players ready to give him a rest (if we finally decide to start giving the older players a spell that is).

What about the umpiring in the 1st half? Could they make it anymore obvious?

As for the game, Brisbane totally wiped them through the midfield and if it wasn’t for there inaccuracy or their early celebrations within the last 4 minutes, the end result would have been even more enjoyable.

Yep they get away with very little scrutiny, they have form on concussion protocol with Cameron staying on the ground in a game mid year.
I can’t stand Chris Scott his arrogance and his whinging are of the highest order!!!

Its kind of amazing Geelong haven't addressed their midfield more. They go up against a midfield like Brissies, or hell even ours, they have problems. Somehow they've made it some what work over the season, but one Sniff and occasional Danger cameos can't work miracles

They did beat that team a few weeks ago

Reckon Geelong know what they are doing but just out played and out classed today- potentially different result if game played tonight or tomorrow

In 2026 Brisbane will add some quality footballers in Allan , Draper and another young gun in Daniel Annabel.
They’ll also regain DoeDee, Payne, Coleman, Hipwood and Berry. The Lions will be a scary proposition in 2026, it will be a 3 peat for the Lions.

They will lose premiership players though too
