Whogivesashit.gifAnd then Taylor goes at 7
Not Sharp? Been the best junior mid all year, and yes, not super quick but still.Has to be a midfield draft. Our midfield is slow, one paced and non dynamic as it gets.
Way behind these clubs and desperately need to get top line mids into our club.
Robey, Grilj and Cumming for me now.

After watching Brisbane industrious blue collar (with a tonne of ability) take apart Geelong’s outside running mids, we need to draft the closest thing to a McCluggage/Ashfield type. I know we have blue collar Taranto and Hopper but they are temporary fixes. Is Robey good enough below his knees? Is Sharp classy enough or quick enough.
Yeah but hes not the recruiter. Hes the guy that will trade pick 2 to another team for a couple of teens picks so that team can pinch Robeyit would be very un clarke like to pick a hyped up draft bolter, he's as stubborn as pigs skin... he would've known who he was gonna pick for months.
safe & lame is the mans mantra...
fear not brother

nah, Lachie was not BOG in my mind, last year or this yearLachie Neale pick 58! Some thought he was BOG last year and some BOG second half today.
All depends on how the recruiting staff rate the talent. They may prefer a higher potential player but high risk, or move into next year if it's a stronger draft etc. There’s several strong reasons to split/trade our draft picks...or stick with current picks. But I'll back the research of the professionals over fixed views.
Yep the game has changed.i will say it again midfield speed and skill. glad the lions won but my q is how are going to stop brisbane bears?
we aren't, but in our case father time is on our side, and other factors.i will say it again midfield speed and skill. glad the lions won but my q is how are going to stop brisbane bears?
Heard from someone connected to another club at Grand Final breakfast they expect us to take Sharp and Robey and very unlikely we’d trade back.
Eagles are going Duursma and CDT. Lock it in. Harley is already arranging for Duursma to move in with himI would be happy with those picks. A bit surprised that the Weagles go Duursma and Cumming (presumably?)
I like the look of Cumming over Sharp, but only just.
Grlj looks good too, but not as good as the "top 4".

Lachie played well without playing the first half, not sure what that means.
Maybe he likes the opposition to have the sting out of the ground in them because they have played a half before hand.
I reckon they might have stumbled on something with him and play him as a sub again sometimes.
Will Ashcroft is a superior player to Lachie in my book, from and including last year
I do not see Lachie as a barometer for the Lions which is why they won without him in finals this year
Brisbane Lions as a midfield have a lot of depth, Dunkley, McLuggage 4 goals, Bailey(should have been a heap of goals) all played roles including Levi
Raynor and others. When Neale retires I do not think it will be a great difference to this group

Clug cashed in once the tag was removed and Geelong gave up. Was pretty well held up to that point.Mmm I mean I’m not mad about it at all, if this is true.
Mcglugage was BOG yesterday, I have a family friend who is a lions maniac and thought so too. He was tagged hard as well.
AFL will push hard to get Ashcroft to match Dusty’s 3 norms.
This will.be hilarious reading on the night.Eagles are going Duursma and CDT. Lock it in. Harley is already arranging for Duursma to move in with him
Make sure you acknowledge this when proven on the moneyHahahah I’ll ask someone who actually knows that answer instead to find out.
Have to strongly disagree with this. Lachie Neale played one of the great halves of Grand final footy and it's no coincidence that the Lions started dominating when he came on.nah, Lachie was not BOG in my mind, last year or this year

I spoke to a Pies supporter, let night, who thought Geelong would belt Brisbane, Cameron has a broken arm by the way from yesterday, but had a bet on Mcluggage for the Norm Smith and felt he should have won, I have actually not seen the full game yet as busy doing other thingsMmm I mean I’m not mad about it at all, if this is true.

he kicked that goal, was composed, did not feel the pressure, in space after others gave it to him and he did not play the first halfHave to strongly disagree with this.
