If anything his agent won’t want to risk shitting the bed as an up and coming agent. Would struggle to land more clients if she can’t even broker this properly.

If I were agent I would be engaging and advising clubs most likely to be able to get the deal done.

It's not like a form or something that you fill out with a spot to write in the destination, you just tell the club "I want to leave". That's all a trade request is.

I think you're confusing a trade request with nominating a destination. The latter usually comes after the former, if not at the same time. It's extremely common.

Eh, there's time for things to play out. Those clubs can elect to trade a player, either to you or to another club, and work it into a three way trade. It would be unusual to keep him for two years in a row. Not sure if it's unprecedented but it'd be getting close.

Surely not worth more than a very late first, and then heavily discount that if you take on his massively overpaid salary.

A club’s facilities, coaches, players, salary cap, membership numbers etc are all major factors in a player’s decision. Why would state be the only one?

I disagree, I think regardless of the industry, employees should be given as much agency over their careers as is practically possible.

Crows first and F1 won’t get it done. Will be pick 20 this year in a draft that is reported to be the worst in recent memory. Next years first will be similar likely in a better draft. But those picks don’t cut it.
