Well, if his return from an ACL is anything to go by you'll have a solid defender...Can anyone tell me why I should get excited about Tyler Young?

More of quiet achiever, just seems to get the job done without any fuss. Have you guys any interest in Blight that we delisted?Strengths/weaknesses? Is he as c***y as Baker and Graham?
Just to add onto that, you won't need Ginbey to play defense but with Ginbey as the no.1 young would be the perfect no.2 to play alongside him if that was the plan. His kicking has been much better since his acl and whilst he does take the safe option has definitely attempted to run a bit more with the ball out of defense this yr.If he manages stays on the park you don't have to risk using Ginbey as a key back.
He is a very good spoiler so can kill a contest, my biggest criticism with him was he didn't seem to take the game on enough, preferred to just take the safe option, however his games this year he looked much better in that regard.
He is a solid defender and will do a job as long as there are others to help, if you want him to be a key figure or lead the backline thats not going to happen.

He would play on the more athletic fwds, miller played on the Gorilla fwds.Is he more suited 1v1 to the athletic types Curnow/Kings etc or the gorillas, is the a current player comparison?
He’d be teamed up with Harry Edwards who has the turning circle of the QEII.
He’s deceptively quick, a lovely kick, can play on talls and smalls and is a good contested mark.Is he more suited 1v1 to the athletic types Curnow/Kings etc or the gorillas, is the a current player comparison?

Could be a mark keane type player, was statisically very similar to him this year. Good speed for a KPD, good lockdown guy and his kicking was much improved since returning from his aclCan anyone tell me why I should get excited about Tyler Young?

source? Hes injured but should still do the interviews.why no sully robey at the combine?
just looking at this https://www.sportingnews.com/au/afl...ted-scheduled-events/f48d43ea115f9ec14dbc0ec5source? Hes injured but should still do the interviews.
Lmao the guys released a big boy article with the old list

#1 Sharp - Most ready and likely to be a top end player of the entire draft. Would complement Lalor and Smillie really well. He goes inside and provides them with ball, and does defensive/pressure work. Also he takes his team and grabs it by the scruff of the deck and drags it across the line. The harder and tougher it is the better he is.
#2 Robey - Super high end potential, but also high risk. He seems to have a great attitude, good footy smarts and a great physique and athleticism. If he reaches his potential he can be a top end mid/forward. Trying to match up on Lalor/Smillie/Hotton/Robey combo would be insane. But a lot of due diligence required.
#3 Cumming - Really good well rounded player who would add to our midfield mix. Doesn't have that super high level of proven performance, or that super high ceiling. But, as a really solid mix of speed, skill and performance he looks really worth taking.
