How often does any club trade a player for another player.

Normally picks are used, which makes it easier for players to change clubs.

Im not saying it's Adelaide only all clubs in afl do it. But if you want something decent you have to trade something decent as well. Compare to American sports, even elite players are traded

Reasonable. I would try to pay a chunk of salary for 6+7 for Trac, 23, Mcvee compo but it will probably somewhere closer to what you suggested.
