How does Trac go from wanting to play for Collingwood - the team he barracked for, has mates at, trains next door to where he trains right now (so his life doesn't have to change at all), to wanting to uproot his entire life to play for Gold Coast?

Why wasn't it Gold Coast last year? if "weather" is a reason, that didn't change in there last year. If "escaping the bubble" is the reason, that also hasn't changed in the last year

Lets hold of on trading high picks for the foreseeable future. It is not a sustainable list management model.

Because Bailey Humphrey is who you draft with a high pick.

Genuine A grade potential.

Statistically speaking he is averaging about 15 touches a game.

Is he more impactful than what the stats show?

He's playing as a forward. What forwards get 20 possessions a game. The one's who do play midfield/forward.

You'd be turning a couple of speculative teen picks into a young sure thing with star potential.

Definitely worth our two future firsts if the AFL allow it.

No one is off limits in the over 28 group as far as I'm concerned. But I'd prefer we don't lose Bobby if possible.

We have had sustained relevance at the top of the ladder with barely any successful first round picks for a decade. I don’t think adding someone who will have 10+ years of really good play ahead of them is a shortsighted move

The players responsible for that sustainable relavance are coming close to the end of their playing careers. Outside of nick, we don't really have any talented youth coming through.

I would rather us be able to hit on multiple mids in the draft then spend that draft capital on Humphrey. That is just my personal feeling.

If Collingwood get him then I will get behind him and support him , I just would like us to not shy away from being aggressive in the draft .
