McCarthy is a speculative tall, not a good tall. That’s why he’s in the range he is. His athletic tools are great, but is by no means a sure thing. If he was a Cooper Duff-Tyler prospect I’d agree, but he isn’tNot over someone like mcarthy. Good talls don't grow on trees.
I bet ya the mega trade dickhead Cooney didn't think of this, we trade in Oliver, Trac and May then on tradeHe is a gun, but he's also contracted for another 3 years, so a deal to get done would be messy and expensive....

Simple, his partner got in his earI'll never understand players having a preference for one club one year, then another the next
What changed in that year?
How does Trac go from wanting to play for Collingwood - the team he barracked for, has mates at, trains next door to where he trains right now (so his life doesn't have to change at all), to wanting to uproot his entire life to play for Gold Coast?
Why wasn't it Gold Coast last year? if "weather" is a reason, that didn't change in there last year. If "escaping the bubble" is the reason, that also hasn't changed in the last year
Always find that stuff odd

Basically Humphrey is the younger version of DeGoey. It would be like older brother looking after his younger bro...Bailey Humphrey is following De Goey & Daicosdelight on Instagram.

Because Bailey Humphrey is who you draft with a high pick. Can't we just stick to the draft for a few years?
Lets hold of on trading high picks for the foreseeable future. It is not a sustainable list management model.
He's playing as a forward. What forwards get 20 possessions a game. The one's who do play midfield/forward.Statistically speaking he is averaging about 15 touches a game.
Is he more impactful than what the stats show?
Bobby is the only way to get Humphrey
I’m not sure that they’re analogousI know some enjoyed Bobby calling out journalists on insta, but i doubt Fly was one of the them. We saw how ruthless he was with Ginnivan.
Fly likes players not picks, and his mantra is always looking to get better. I get the feeling if Fly locks into a player who will make us better, he wants him at any cost...I know some enjoyed Bobby calling out journalists on insta, but i doubt Fly was one of the them. They have been craving a small forward since rankine. They don’t need much elseThat would be disappointing
I'd rather be selling Dimma on multiple experienced Premiership players to help his young team with that side of the game
No one is off limits in the over 28 group as far as I'm concerned. But I'd prefer we don't lose Bobby if possible.
Harvey Harrison, get ready to learn Gold Coast buddy! They have been craving a small forward since rankine. They don’t need much else
He's jumping on the huge chance of a flag now that he's seen the suns are getting close. Probably thinks pies are trending south too.Simple, his partner got in his ear![]()
The players responsible for that sustainable relavance are coming close to the end of their playing careers. Outside of nick, we don't really have any talented youth coming through. What is the cost, do you think?
We have had sustained relevance at the top of the ladder with barely any successful first round picks for a decade. I don’t think adding someone who will have 10+ years of really good play ahead of them is a shortsighted move
where is this Humphrey talk coming from, B Bear doesnt talk.Bobby is the only way to get Humphrey
Yes because our drafting has been so successful in the pastCan't we just stick to the draft for a few years?

.Hawthorn are all in on Merrett, or they now going to leave him in the lurch and kick him to the curb and chase Humphrey??Good god we need to get that kid.
If he chooses a Hawthorn, Carlton or Melbourne simply because we have nothing to give I'll be so annoyed.
They have been craving a small forward since rankine. They don’t need much else
Well we have a new head of drafting. Can't keep running away from the Early rounds of the draft because Hine shit the bed in recent years.Yes because our drafting has been so successful in the past.
Hit on multiple mids? Like Allan, HDM, Macrae? The players responsible for that sustainable relavance are coming close to the end of their playing careers. Outside of nick, we don't really have any talented youth coming through.
I would rather us be able to hit on multiple mids in the draft then spend that draft capital on Humphrey. That is just my personal feeling.
If Collingwood get him then I will get behind him and support him , I just would like us to not shy away from being aggressive in the draft .
