Posters are responsible for what they post. Moderators can not attest to the accuracy or otherwise of any rumour posted.

Moderators will intervene for a couple of reasons.

1. If a thread is threatening to be derailed because of a post.

2. If invested parties request the removal of material.

None of this draws a conclusion as to the accuracy or otherwise of the original post.

There is no need to further speculate. What will be will be.

Also, you need to remember that this thread like all parts of this forum is bound by the rules of poster conduct. If you want to express skepticism towards a rumour that's fine, but having a crack at posters who are contributors to this forum is simply not on and will be acted upon.

Goal a game small forward who can push into the middle, 27yo, VIC origins.

Stylistically I think he's Motlop-esque, but on statistical output is comparable to the slightly more damaging Williams.

If he's cheap so GC can clear some cap space, I'll take him for a late pick, to bolster our small forward stocks. But I'm not sure he's enough better than Motlop for us to pay anything of worth just for one of them to be sitting in the twos each week.

I think he's a better mark than Motlop. I think he's a viable target on a lead if you can kick it to his advantage.

Nah I think Harry, Moir & Kemp (add Humphries if we can) would be dangerous.
Even if we don't get Humphries, we would be better with Zac Williams playing Mid/Fwd and giving us classy delivery.

Our main problem is injury and getting them all on the park at the same time.

Interesting that Carlton we standing next to Brisbane 15 years ago while they got a leg up with the Northern academy and 15-20 first round draft picks since. They’ve now won 2 premierships, played in one more and made prelims in 4 other years since. Now GC were standing next to us as recently as 5 years ago. Their northern academy has gifted them more but they’ve also had awesome packages gifted to them from the afl allowing them countless hits at the best kids in the country. We on the other hand have made 1 prelim and we’re gone again.

Is in the years to come we are likely going to see QLD teams in prelims and GFs and premierships only really going out of Victoria while we start again AND again.

I just want one more. I’d settle for a GF Loss to GC.
