For what it's worth boss man Sam Mitchell was at Choo Choos, Port Douglas this morning... Didn't see Bailey Humphrey there....I assume he was enjoying the chilli poached eggs which are sensational and my personal fav.

Of course they were different, cops were a lot nicer than nowadays, not many around either compared to now. This was in Wodonga, Vic. Also QLD and TAS. Melbourne on the other hand, is different altogether.

Every cop I've encountered has been nice and I've been around for a long time. The trouble is, if you speak to them with an attitude, they'll treat you like a C***. I've seen my friends get treated badly but they treated me with respect.
I've had compliments of my Panel Van after they thought I was a hoon, even had a laugh. I've been let off quite a few times as well. It's all about your attitude towards them. You have to be smart, not dumb.

Firstly, I have great respect for much of the Police Force, my "Father" a former high-ranking officer with Vic Police. Very old school and highly respected. Secondly when you were an Aboriginal in NT, it did not matter how nice you were to some Police, you copped it pretty hard in the 60s and 70s.

That's it, they are doing their job. No one likes a smart ass and cops can make it quite difficult for you then and every time they see you. I know there's some nasty ones nowadays and I hope to never run into one.

Players have too much power these days in contract. It’s time clubs wield back that power. These players walking out on long contracts.

Nobody seems to mention Clayton Oliver, Steven May, Christian Petracca, Jack Steele,—-players being pushed out the door by their clubs despite having contracts.

Oh yeah, that's on a different level. The way Aboriginals were and are treated, is horrendous!
Racism is well and truly still alive, unfortunately. Hopefully one day soon, that will be nipped in the bud.

Yea especially when Hills still right in the sweet spot for our list profile and is also at his lowest trade value.

Have to give up quality to get quality. Bobby was key in our 2023 flag. His unfortunate personal challenges and resulting absence also cost us this season. A fresh start elsewhere could be best for all parties. Maybe a 3-way with West Coast with picks going to GC? Nick Daicos and Bailey Humphrey would be a great 1-2 punch for the next decade.

The bolded comment seems important to me. In an out Hill in Humphrey scenario either one is strengthening the group that got close, but was clearly missing firepower late season. The question though isn’t a Hill v Humphrey debate because Humphrey will be the better player over the next decade the question is what else needs to be added if that’s the guts of the trade?

You can still have fun as a player, its the off-season, you can't expect them to be a robot all year round. Some players will do everything right but others will let their hair down.

Being sloppy drunk at the Copeland after that being a big chunk of the reason for missing trainings/games isn’t a bright idea
I’m all for everyone having a good time but you also need to be smart

I think the picture is getting a bit clearer for mine. Buller comes in to cover Checkers type role even though he not as decorated he will fill the bill. Blight comes in to secure up our pillars down back. Moore or Howe could both play a bit forward next year to balance things out.

Think we getting ready for big plays next year on a King type forward. Not much we can do this year wit limited picks and currency.

yeah I think we should be aiming for Butters and/or King as free agents. Shouldn’t be wasting valuable $$$ this year of players who aren’t A grade.

WTF do Elliott and Cameron have to do with Hill being absent in the back end of the year due to the breakdown of his relationship? The Suns are into him and have been for the majority of the year.
