Enjoy the kiddies menu while you still can!!

Not that I'm yet ordering off it, but I like venues that offer a "Small Menu" selection without needing to be a kid or a senior citizen to look at it

Just nice to have that option

What's worse is the places that make sure you can't order of the kids menu, like having a small meal is a cardinal sin. Sometimes people just want that little scoop of ice cream and mini sliders

Got told I'm headed to a steakhouse tonight for my own (in a few days) and grandfathers (today) birthdays. Woohoo!
Wishing you and your Grandad very happy birthdays.

Being honest I haven't got to the point of deciding, but roughly medium/medium well would be pretty tasty to me.
Start at medium and work down.
There is a reason that chefs recommend rare or medium rare.
Much more flavoursome

As a youngen, it was always medium for steaks

Then become medium rare as I moved into adulthood (though some may question if I've really reached that level of maturity)

And now I mean more towards rare, especially with a cut like eye fillet

Where is the Goose travelling to today?
Just checking in for the next instalment.

Since you're our person on the ground, question I've always wondered is beyond spicy sausages, what is Croatian cuisine?
I’d counter - aside from Bunnings sausage sizzle what is Australian cuisine ?

My answer would be: "Modern Australian cuisine is heavily influenced by British, Italian, Chinese, Vietnamese, Indian, American and Lebanese dishes. This matches with some of the larger migrant communities in the Country.

Historically, First Nations Australians ate diets specific to the flora and fauna of their lands."

I asked Falc, not AI.

Tell it to word it like Dalton’s bond and come back

If you keep comparing my own words to AI, one might get upset. Luckily, I'm chilling with a beer otherwise things were about to turn nasty!

I did just that, had a medium sirloin and it was very very good. Alongside some really nice potatoes and salad and some side onion rings, I’d say the dinner was successful!

It looks like you are having beautiful weather too.
It's sunny but cold
The winds came early this year.
Dubrovnik is an amazing place. Loved it.
Expensive, but great!

Not a strength of Croatia from what*v3 see so far.
A lot of the cheaper meats in various local gravys.
YOU can good beef cuts and lamb shanks, but in my view they are over powered by the strong sources that cover up the cheap meats.
Lots of potatoes and pastas.
They do good Italian food given the long history and being part of both the Venetian Empire and being part of Italy between the wars.
The Czech, Slovakian and Slovenia all have awesome food

Only just got here, it's beautiful.
Had lunch in Split on the way to Dubrovnik.
At the risk of being that guy, Split didn't grab me like I thought it would.
Loved Zadar which is where went were yesterday afternoon/evening.
Split was okay. Was nicer out on the islands like Hvar, I thought. Loved Dubrovnik though. Stayed in the Old Town which was really cool.

Vegimite on toast.
Pavlova.
Blue Heaven Milkshake.
Fairy bread.
Are all uniquely Aussie.
The rest is as Falc said.
