Last time, I haven’t. It is a fact that some people think we will dip next year if we don’t get Oliver. You're obviously implying it, don't be obtuse. "If people want to throw in the towel" and "I won't because I believe in Fly and the players" is obviously implying this.
He’s been told to seek a trade. He is still contracted and paid by Melbourne for the next 4 years. If you want him, you have to convince him to request a trade. You’re making it sound like he’s out of a job, income and livelihood which is incorrect.

His kicking is currently absolutely dire - unco ruckman bad. Everything else is good. It comes down to whether they think the kicking is fixable. I think it's a technical issue and is fixable, but it'd take a fair while. He's been mentioned before but is Tsatas someone we take a hail mary on?
Doesn't seem to be in big favour down at Essendon so might be willing to move and be attainable.
I know his kicking is seen as an issue but his production levels at VFL level look decent, by all accounts has speed which is a plus for us in terms of our mix and I see he racked up 11 clearances (average of 5) against Adelaide this season from only 63% TOG.

If we don't add to the midfield the only premiership you're getting is on AFL livePremiership incoming.
Collingwood list boss Justin Leppitsch is set to fly out to Sydney to meet with Melbourne’s Clayton Oliver.A lot of incorrect posters in here,

Leppitsch is literally quoted as saying he was flying up to meet Oliver and that the Midfield was a big position of need which they found out the hard way against Brisbane.
I don't trust the media at all.Collingwood list boss Justin Leppitsch is set to fly out to Sydney to meet with Melbourne’s Clayton Oliver.
Perhaps when Oliver was not contactable to arrange a meeting for Leppa's arrival, he decided not to take the flight.
Maybe a meeting was indeed intended until the news was coming out that he’s already telling GWS players he’s picking them. His manager was planning on organising a meeting but decided a phone call would suffice? Felt like we were wasting our time.
Coke is a hard drug.
Neither do I. I'm going by what Leppa and Fly have said.I don't trust the media at all.
Nor should you. Or anyone for that matter.I don't trust the media at all.
Add to this also, that it’s being said he was telling GWS players he’s going there and it’s all seeming pretty obvious that chasing him was a dead end. Hence no flight and just a call, probably to just confirm directly if there’s any point having a meeting.Neither do I. I'm going by what Leppa and Fly have said.
Leppa had planned to fly to Sydney to meet Oliver. Fly has said Oliver was not contactable.
Based on that, it makes sense that Leppa didn't end up flying to Sydney.
Ferris?maybe leppa went up for Bueller
It was his day offFerris?
Rowell had the courtesy to call Fly personally to inform him he’s staying at GC, now that’s class.Neither do I. I'm going by what Leppa and Fly have said.

I'd be shocked, perplexed as to why we would want Oliver. Sounds desperate. We don't need his type around our club.Nor should you. Or anyone for that matter.
One has DECORUMRowell had the courtesy to call Fly personally to inform him he’s staying at GC, now that’s class.
While Clarry can’t be found, tells you everything.

He'll still be on that party boat. He'll fit right in at GWSRowell had the courtesy to call Fly personally to inform him he’s staying at GC, now that’s class.

We did seem desperate there for a bit. I myself succumbed to it!!I'd be shocked, perplexed as to why we would want Oliver. Sounds desperate. We don't need his type around our club.
Family club values down the toilet with a trade like this. Ginni wasn't anywhere near as bad and he was shown the door.
The club probably wouldn't take too much notice of what someone supposedly said. Nor who he does & doesn't follow on instagram.Add to this also, that it’s being said he was telling GWS players he’s going there and it’s all seeming pretty obvious that chasing him was a dead end. Once he knew he wanted to go to GWS flying up be waste of time and MoneyHis manager was planning on organising a meeting but decided a phone call would suffice? Felt like we were wasting our time.
