Not getting Humphrey without a Charlie Deal. Even then, it's going to be tough to get points for Dean, Ison, Walker and trade for Khamis, Chesser, Ainsworth.

Also don't see how we get ahead of the Dean bid and take him. Must be hoping for bottom 4 next year, or Walker to slide dramatically.

We already have the picks needed for Dean, Ison, Khamis, Chesser and Ainsworth.

We may need to add an extra first rounder next year to secure Walker, but will have the ability to trade next year using 2027 and 2028 picks.

Presumably if we were to trade Charlie to secure Humphrey, the aim would be to come out of that with an extra future first to make the Walker acquisition much easier.

How are the saints getting SDK and De Goey

Theoretically, we can trade out a 2027 F1 for another 2026 first, but then they know we are desperate and that would see us with no leverage. Then as you said, we'd have to trade others out this year to cover a Dean bid. What currency do we have?

McGovern and Binns both had WCE interest. The Charlie deal is what's holding up a couple of other moves on the trade floor. Shitney know what we want and if our recruiting team went up there to meet with players, the deal could be done by Monday morning. Outside of that, we just keep waiting.

What would be good is if we can leverage Sydney's 2025 and 26 firsts and Hayward, and Sydney's 2026 second for Charlie.

We then trade our F2 and Sydney's F2 and pick 10 to WCE for pick 2, 34, and Chesser.

Then we could trade pick 2 to GC17 for pick 7, their 2026 F1 and their 2025 second round picks. Or for Humphrey, their 2026 first, and their 2025 second.

And remember folks, this is silly season... go nuts... I already have

Wouldn’t be surprised if there’s an attempt to work SDK into Marshall.

Don’t really give a flying re: Charlie’s preference - if you’re wanting out it’ll be for whatever gives us the greater purse.
