Moderators will intervene for a couple of reasons.

Just wanted to make this observation, but looking at comments in Durds thread, lots of love, but in a past player thread and here regarding a current player, I see more negative comments. Just a random reflection on the players. I always wish the best for anyone who has worn the Navy Blue (especially for types like Durdin). But it's hard with others sometimes. Could say more, but...

I do know that Nick Austin prioritises players that can and like to tackle … this suggests to me Rowbottom could be on his wish list.

Rowbottom would probably be a top 5 tackler in the AFL but just don't get the fit with the current midfield group. Players like Hayward/Campbell/McInerney would be better fits imo

If we move him now Voss can really push standards and we get possibly a very good player, a top 4-5 pick plus Walker locked up not to mention salary cap room to go after players in next few years

They had lunch to talk it through afterwards so I'm guessing we relayed to them what would be needed to satisfy us.

If we come away with Cheeser Ainsworth Reidy Khamis and one of Rowbottom/Hayward/Campbell plus a First Rounder to add to TDK to turn into Top 4-5 pick plus F1 to help get Walker plus some picks for Dean Ison along with Salary Cap room for future and only lose Charlie & Durdin (and some later picks) that is a fantastic trade period and sets us up for next decade

We have achieved what we set out to do and really adds to our youth

Not even close to Pagan era. We had hardly any decent players then

We have top end talent and a heap of really good youth coming through. We will add highly rated youth in Walker Jagga Dean Ison to our side. We have a lot of kids now. We could add another top 4-5 pick. We lack depth in that middle age group. Look at our reserves. It’s where we struggle

I 100% support what we are doing.

This would be a great deal for us. Just not sure if it would cause us any salary or list size issues if we took on two players. Also, struggle to see Swans doing this
