We’ve got to work out how we get Dougie Cochrane 2026, and 2 F/S and 1 NGA to plan for 2027.Brodie for 2026 4th Round?
Too complicated for me.

Doesn’t seem like Port got anything to trade with. We’ve got to work out how we get Dougie Cochrane 2026, and 2 F/S and 1 NGA to plan for 2027.

Taking on his salary is what we put up. This is Will Brodie we are trading for not somebody you want to keep.Doesn’t seem like Port got anything to trade with.
It's not like Fremantle need a salary dump, so you will need to offer up some value.Taking on his salary is what we put up. This is Will Brodie we are trading for not somebody you want to keep.

That and there's no guarantee that the afl are going let you have Cochrane under the ngaDoesn’t seem like Port got anything to trade with.
It's as simple as this, they can keep him and they have one less player they can draft if they want to keep him, then he will stay because he's under contract. Brodie is worth nothing and if his contract was finished we'd be picking him up as a DFA.It's not like Fremantle need a salary dump, so you will need to offer up some value.
So you are not really bothered if he remains at Fremantle...It's as simple as this, they can keep him and they have one less player they can draft if they want to keep him, then he will stay because he's under contract. I would assume that the club has been told. Despite the level of AFL corruption there is, it would be a joke if they change the rules re matching NGA's to make it harder to match then also didn't give you the ability to hoard picks to do it.That and there's no guarantee that the afl are going let you have Cochrane under the nga
It will just mean we get him one year later. So you are not really bothered if he remains at Fremantle...
Carr thinks differently as rates him.
Well get ready its changing next yearI would assume that the club has been told. Despite the level of AFL corruption there is, it would be a joke if they change the rules re matching NGA's to make it harder to match then also didn't give you the ability to hoard picks to do it.
I guess you think we should be giving the same pick for Brodie that you want to pay for 5 year contract Ah Chee. I'm looking forward to that falling over and Sam Berry running your midfield. So you are not really bothered if he remains at Fremantle...

Find the quote where i said that!I guess you think we should be giving the same pick for Brodie that you want to pay for 5 year contract Ah Chee. I'm looking forward to that falling over and Sam Berry running your midfield.
If you want my honest opinion I and most other people would have expected that Port and Freo would have swapped 4th Round picks on Day 1 in the same way the Reddy trade happened. Don't know why that didn't happen before the Reddy trade.Find the quote where i said that!
So easy for you to go into another mindless rant.
You would think they could have got the trade out of the way with later picksIf you want my honest opinion I and most other people would have expected that Port and Freo would have swapped 4th Round picks on Day 1 in the same way the Reddy trade happened. Don't know why that didn't happen before the Reddy trade.
Don't know ....but I'm sure it wouldn't have been Port holding it up. All I can think is Freo want us to pay up because Carlton didn't.You would think they could have got the trade out of the way with later picks
... so the question is why the hold up?
Yep happy to just get him off the booksTaking on his salary is what we put up. This is Will Brodie we are trading for not somebody you want to keep.
Is there even a hold up? Both clubs have had other deals to work through, and most likely feeling out a few more. There's plenty of time left.Don't know ....but I'm sure it wouldn't have been Port holding it up. All I can think is Freo want us to pay up because Carlton didn't.
