Posters are responsible for what they post. Moderators can not attest to the accuracy or otherwise of any rumour posted.

Moderators will intervene for a couple of reasons.

1. If a thread is threatening to be derailed because of a post.

2. If invested parties request the removal of material.

None of this draws a conclusion as to the accuracy or otherwise of the original post.

There is no need to further speculate. What will be will be.

Also, you need to remember that this thread like all parts of this forum is bound by the rules of poster conduct. If you want to express skepticism towards a rumour that's fine, but having a crack at posters who are contributors to this forum is simply not on and will be acted upon.

I think McDonald and 11 for 2 and some later stuff is realistic. Pick 2 is very attractive to us

Pick 2 and F1 and 2 players would be a good deal for us

I would prefer a trade with the likes of Hayward included not just picks

I got word from my source that a mystery player will unlock the Curnow deal. Now my source wouldn't tell me who the player in question was, but I was able to discern the following information:

• He plays for a club
• He plays a position
• His guernsey number is between 1-50

Trade period really does drag. Should just be a trade week, like it used to be.

Not sure why they extended it to 2 weeks, they were right to shorten it quickly after that but didn't shorten it enough. All it means is clubs fluff around mostly in the first week only finalising trades everyones known about for months based around fringe players and it's not really until after the weekend that any of the meaningful moves happen.

Everyone knows it's 90% nonsense posturing until the deadline approaches forcing people to show their hands. The extra days make no difference to moves being made, they just delay them.
