Moderators will intervene for a couple of reasons.

None of this draws a conclusion as to the accuracy or otherwise of the original post.

There is no need to further speculate. What will be will be.

Also, you need to remember that this thread like all parts of this forum is bound by the rules of poster conduct. If you want to express skepticism towards a rumour that's fine, but having a crack at posters who are contributors to this forum is simply not on and will be acted upon.

"Win-win" is never really win-win. Someone will always come out feeling they got shafted in a deal, and it's usually both parties feeling that way.

If we can land 2x firsts and 2x serviceable players from the Swans, that is overs IMO.

Normally I'd agree with you. But in this case I'm not sure it is what we want. Really depends how much (if at all) the club are happy to have Charlie stay.

As I've said before, I think this is our best chance to maximise return on Charlie. We may be happy to have him return to the fold. And play out his days as a Bagger.
