2025 List Management Discussion - Part 5

Now that our season is over, and news is starting to break - it's time for a fresh thread.

This thread is to discuss all things list management - trades, draft, free agency, delistings and more.
As we are now officially in our off-season, we'll be wanting to keep this thread more strictly on-topic than the previous iterations.
Be respectful. You are allowed to disagree with someone - but play the ball, not the man. Repeat offenders will have their posting rights revoked.

2025 KEY DATES
Free Agency Period: Friday, October 3rd - Friday, October 10th
Trade Period: Monday, October 6th - Wednesday, October 15th
AFL Draft: Wednesday, November 19th - Thursday, November 20th

Adelaide get Ah Chee, F3rd (Geelong)
Brisbane get Pick 19

I remember earlier this year it was reported we were after Pick 12-15 for Marshall, prior to compensation picks Adelaide's pick would have been Pick 14 ..

I don't think Geelong will pay up more than 19 + 3rd rd pick

Wonder if Geelong first & second round picks with saints third rounder back would work?

Only one who has ranked him that high for awhile.

How many points will we need to match?

Depends when bid comes but we do get a discount being our NGA...we can go into deficit but i reckon we'll do some pick swapping tomorrow

Yeah, I know that feeling. I can't even talk footy with my family.

I don’t have a bad life here at all but no one here has even heard of aussie rules footy. In the rare event that an aussie blows in, they either don’t follow the sport or they follow a different team. The last time I spoke to another Sants fan face to face was so long ago I was a different person, probably around 20 years ago, a long time before I was on BF. I don't think I'd even know how to handle a face to face convo with a Saints fan any more. I'd have to ask them to go off and text me from a different room hahaha

This forum - I wouldn't be as dramatic or badly adjusted to say it saved my life but I'd have a much poorer life without it.

I mean this with all sincerity: Thank you all so much, even the campaigners on here, of which there are many ;-)

I'm in tweed, it seems to be growing up here, but I concur that these forums help with the appearance of maintaining some sanity, if not simultaneously making me question my sanity.

Geez, the Dog's list management thread is sad--wondering if they will get a 4th for Jamara, wondering which defender they could trade for pick 37 and if they can use pick 70 to match a bid for Darcy's brother.

Pencil Case is adamant they're getting one of Carltons first rounders for Buku though so they're fine mate.
