Now that our season is over, and news is starting to break - it's time for a fresh thread.

This thread is to discuss all things list management - trades, draft, free agency, delistings and more.
As we are now officially in our off-season, we'll be wanting to keep this thread more strictly on-topic than the previous iterations.
Be respectful. You are allowed to disagree with someone - but play the ball, not the man. Repeat offenders will have their posting rights revoked.

2025 KEY DATES
Free Agency Period: Friday, October 3rd - Friday, October 10th
Trade Period: Monday, October 6th - Wednesday, October 15th
AFL Draft: Wednesday, November 19th - Thursday, November 20th

I think his best is past him. Doesn’t look like he has the same level of impact like in previous years. Tight groins probably impacting his explosiveness.

Zero problem with his football when he’s fit and out there. Don’t care what the issues at Collingwood are, players like him are rare. I’d take the chance.

Both good games but not dominant. If he got a good run at it injury wise I'm sure he'd be good but massive risk and we've seen how this movie ends

Just my 2 cents after listening to nearly 2 weeks of trade radio:

1. The Rheem jingle is timeless, right up there with the Coldflow (heating and cooling) jingle. 10/10
2. If I hear one more ad for the Bruce Springsteen movie I'm gonna THROW UP.
3. Cal and Riley are the only 2 hosts on Trade Radio provide any real analysis and objective assessment. The rest are all just potting their usuals and lauding their favourite. Real wankfest.

Tbh, in the long run and ignoring the “don’t help the Cats” and thinking beyond the next year or two, either is a big haul. Even if they aren’t traded, that’s keeping the youth coming in while trading in talent as well. I can’t see either being offered up.

I'd love for us to pull a serotonin rabbit out of the hat before the trade period closes, but we are very likely done when it comes to bringing players in. The only thing is waiting to see whether clubs throw a Hail Mary for Row or Steele.

We've got to seriously question why JDG is on the table. The Pies reckon they are on the cusp, so they're not shopping him around if they think he can contribute strongly next year and beyond. Massive red flags for mine....

Can't wait to see how petulant the media class will be today in regards to the Rowan Marshall trade/non-trade. The media is absolutely littered with unashamed Geelong supporters and ex-players. We will be portrayed as the devil.

Tbf Bartel, Hird, Gerard Healy and even Brad J have all said we should hang onto Roma.
Haven’t heard Joeys thoughts on the matter but would assume they’d be the same.

The jingles are actually the highlight for the most part. Although I think the rest of today is Cal Twomey, Riley Beveridge and the Vol-Kane-O (...unfortunately) and the other knob heads are done for the day.

I hope the dees are useless at convincing jack that they aren't a basketcase.

Unlike with marshall- if steele wants to go, I think we will accept whatever pick(s) the dees toss our way.

If steele wants to move- we need to accept that he's only going to net us a rubbish F3 or something.

We can't tell him to go explore his options- but then play hardball.
The dees know that- we wont get 'market value' for him if he wants to move.

Dees have come into Steele very late in the piece.
Do they honestly expect him to make a decision about his career in 5 hours.
Personally, I think he stays. If for no other reason than to avoid working with Richo again.
