Delisted Callum Ah Chee - Joins Adelaide via the PSD

this was in direct response to the guy who said they only got father sons after 1991, which isn't true
Go back and read the post. I only said you have also had the opportunity from 1991 for players who could have produced F/S but haven't. The Lion have been fortunate enough too. As have the Pies & doggies.

Talk about creating your own narrative.

Blake Coleman was a fail and delisted. Kiddy Coleman went as an overager pick 35, Sam marshall pick 25. check your facts. Anabelle this year is the 1st midfielder who looks to go early. Wow!
Blake Coleman, was still a first round pick whether he was good or not. Sam Marshall was still regarded as being in the first round as other academy picks came before him pushed it back, its still the first round.

might not like the facts, but just because a player is a "fail" doesnt mean anything, a player can be a fail without going through academy. The draft is a risk whether you have an academy or not

By that logic, we never got a first rounder in 2019, wheres our refund for Fischer?

ah right, now we want to bring it back after getting found out on multiple lies you lions supporters have been spewing for the past 2 days lmao.

your list management thread is in meltdown, just basically crying about every other club and their supporters
you've been on bigfooty 2 weeks I dont think you even know what meltdown is, secondly you really think any of us give a stuff oh no we missed out on future pick 40(around about) a total of 270 points

Back 2 back we really dont care, the whole saga could of been over with a pick slide and f2

that would be around 500 points which is equal to pick 28 a good deal for everyone

Thought there was something about trading in pick 29 but Brisbane refused..

no, we wanted a pick slide 16-23 and the pick slide is worth 270 points and pick 40 is worth 238 = 508 points

pick 28 = 505 points

If you dont think ah Chee is worth pick 28 I really dont have anything else to say and everyone wonders why we didnt take the rubbish deal

Using DVI to justify what picks are worth is so Brisbane and GCS supporters lol. Would you trade picks in the 30s, 40s and 50s for pick 2 which Will Ashcroft was selected??????

thats literally how list managers determine value

secondly will Ashcroft has nothing to do with the trade

thirdly we used our first round pick for Ashcroft

yeah no, you havent had just one, sam marshall, Blake Coleman? these are all recent too... and all in the first round
If you think Sam Marshall and Blake Coleman were taken in the genuine first rd, then no doubt you'd support a Crows 2nd rd pick was significantly unders in a trade for Ah Chee. As by that logic the crows 2nd rd pick is going to be in the early 40s...

FYI those two players were taken at pick 24 and pick 25...

must be nice being able to use this logic, other clubs don't get the luxury
you aren't very bright

We were giving Adelaide the option instead of going and finding a pick suitable(somewhere in the 20's do a pick slide and f2 that equates to that pick

how hard is it to understand your f2 probably around half of ah Chee value somewhere in the twenties is about right which you never offered

If you honestly believe ah Chee is worth (around pick 40) I dont know what to tell you

I didn't see Adelaide threatening to walk Ah Chee to the PSD; they made multiple offers to him over the week before deadline day ;)

Also--- is it even a guarantee that Ah Chee makes it to the Crows?
Grasping at straws to deny this is the exact thing you argued is a myth 😅

Trade value is not always objective. It is often to do with what is the “fairest” offer a club can put together with what it has available. At the time you’re referring to trading future picks was not an option.

We also were forced to accept essentially pick 10 and steak knives for a prime Patrick Dangerfield. In no world was that fair value.

But, it was the best offer Geelong could realistically put together, so we had to take it.

The trade you’re referring to involved a FA compo pick that Melbourne received for Sylvia. In that same year, the Dees had access to picks 2 and 20, they’re next pick was pick 40.

So the Crows would have been asking for one of the Dees picks in the 20s, and the alternative would have been to accept a pick in the 40s.

That’s a very different scenario to this one.
Based on your summary there, the crows did offer well unders for Ah Chee... they had the assets to get an early 20s pick for him... they just sat on their hands instead.

Ah Chee now has to be dragged through the mud of the PSD all because your club wanted a cheapie. Players will have taken note of Adelaide's trade approach - it would put me off considering them if I had to be traded that's for sure.

No they don't, it's only those with a massive leg up think and why Dom "the prick" is so arrogant with the worth of a 2nd rounder. Name a list manger who would trade pick 30s, 40s and 50s for pick 2 and they will be sacked on the spot.

What has riled me up over this is the clueless fans blindly cheering this stance. Brisbane has done a lot of things right over the past few years (clearly) but this one is just bad. It’s bad. Honestly can’t believe some are still defending it.
Nah Adelaide committed a fat contract to Ah Chee and didn't want to get him via a fair trade.

Brisbane traded Starce without issue - if we were not fair traders, Starce wouldn't have been traded either. Adelaide on the other hand, they have form in this area.
