It's the principle of the thing. The BOM site was one of the last straightforward websites unencumbered by slop and enshittification. Why fix what isn't broke? It was pretty much the perfect website. That said I mostly use the Google weather app on my phone because it's right there. So, yeah, like. I dunno man.

Mate you don’t know what lightning and thunder is until you’ve been in the south.
It honestly scared the shit out of me, I remember a woman driving along the freeway when a Mountain Dew sign came off the billboard during a storm.
It went through her car window and basically took her head off.
That’s why I would never live there, the people and weather are both crazy.
