I think he was going anyway at the next vote. Surprised they felt the need to do it given they could have just waited for the vote.

Left the club in a better position than he found it. Wish he could have been less of an insane cooker outside of football matters.

Warren was a man never suited to navigating corporate politics. Digging his heels in and refusing to apologise is just another example that he doesn't possess the tact and wisdom to hold a director role. He has to understand that his actions are reflected on the board and the club as a whole and can't be seperated from the individual. It's a shame as he represented ideals that many of us shared but a board that is unable to be unified and act for the common good of the club instead of their own personal sense of pride and ideology is not a good board.

Amongst other things, the Board formally requested that Mr Tredrea agree to a Club Statement which included an apology to the Club and anyone who took offence to the comments made on his podcast by Mr AJ Roberts.
Mr Tredrea refused to agree with the public apology request to close out the matter. The Board has afforded Mr Tredrea numerous opportunities to reconsider his position, which he has not changed.
Onya Tredray farkn, apologize for one thing then next they make you apologese just for existing. GOOD WORK TREDDERS DONT LET THE WOKE MOB WIN

These comments are ****ed lol. You cannot have a man who is constantly making headlines for refusing to pay fines, bizarre sovcit legal manoeuvres, and having a podcast which seeks to launder the reputation of society’s worst. Such a person does not belong on the board of any organisation which takes itself seriously. Unless they’re POTUS of course.

Very interesting that the Club made mention of the Corporations Act in its statement.

RussellEbertHandball correct me if I'm wrong but I was of the understanding that one can only make an official determination regarding compliance with the Act either via ASIC or a Court of Law.

Then again, the Club believe they are a law unto themselves.

I don't necessarily disagree with this, but I'm interested to know on what basis the club even has the power to remove a member elected board member?

First they came for the sovcit nutjobs, and I did not speak out, for I was not a sovcit nutjob ...

So do we get a new election or will they appoint an interim board member?

So he wouldn't apologise was the thing that finished him.

Dont recall anyone from the club ever apologising for the 13 years of shit we just endured....

Oh well. If he only did one thing, and it was ridding us of the stain we had at head coach, he did good.

I mean, love him as a player and happy if he was instrumental in removing Hinkley finally, but his arrogance on this matter certainly went the way of putting himself first over the club, something we've been roundly unhappy with the current chairman and the previous head coach

Wish it were different but it's not
